To us , Lock & Key is the best restaurants on Manasota,Key. Has complimentary valet parking which makes it a pleasure due to a small parking area and it’s very welcoming when you walk thru the door. Bar to the left, dining room to the right and plenty of outside tables to watch the beach goers across the road. I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos and she had the Boom Boom Shrimp. We’d easily order those both again. The server was fast and friendly and when we come back we know it will be as nice.

Wonderful neighborhood restaurant in a vacation town. Good food good vibes. The night I was here the music was nostalgic to a radio station that used be on the air in Philly in the 90s. The station was Y100. So many good memories from summertime at the pool and beach. Good service, good times. Cheers!

Went for the dine town, our bartender was fantastic, she makes the deserts and I loved those, the pork belly was good and the chicken was good , noodles needed lots of seasoning. Everything else was fine

So happy Lock ‘N Key is reopened! The ambience is beautiful, the service was spot-on, and the menu and drinks were full of flavor.
I had the tuna poké bowl, which was fresh and delicious. My husband had the Caesar salad (his go-to!) and said it was amazing — the grilled chicken was perfectly cooked. We also tried the buffalo cheese dip, and it was excellent.
A great experience all around — we’ll definitely be back!

This a great little beach bar. The last two years we were here it was closed due to hurricane damage. We are so glad it’s back up and running. The food is as good as ever. My wife and I split the Boom Boom Shrimp and short rib power bowl. Both were really good.
Also, it was my wife’s birthday and they were very cooperative about me bringing a birthday cake for after dinner.
One difference from the past is that I made a reservation rather than just showing up. During high season, this place is very popular and it might be a long wait without one. Also, parking is limited and is now valet only. There is parking across the street at the public beach if you don’t want to pay the valet.

Came in with a group of 7 and we all had a great meal. My favorite highlights were the seafood cake appetizer and the massively huge slice of coconut cream pie. But we tried a little of everything and it was all good. The Cole Slaw was a little bland, it could use a little vinegar or lime juice in it and the coconut martini could use a better garnish than just a cherry. But would definitely come back again. Service from Sydney was great too!
