Lock 4 at Smitty’s Marina is a waterfront restaurant in Belle Vernon, PA located directly on the Monongahela River in the heart of the Mon Valley. We serve elevated scratch-made food including gourmet burgers, pizzas, fresh salads, seafood specialties, and chef-crafted entrées alongside craft cocktails and beautiful river views from our dining room, outdoor deck, and patio. Our onsite event space, The River Room, hosts showers, birthdays, reunions, and corporate events for 25–80 guests. We went for the Valentine’s Day special. It was amazing! Staff is super amazing and made me feel very welcomed. The food was great… wasn’t a fan of the prime rib though. Will be back and you can thank the staff and food for that! Keep doing what you do team! You’re killing it! ❤️

Great food and atmosphere ! The new coffee and ice cream bar is great. Kids love it ! The weekend brunch with unlimited pancakes is too good to be true. Plus you can get here by boat or car and enjoy a great view of the river and boats while you eat. Staff is prompt and friendly. Great new menu that is far far above bar food fare. New owners have made nice improvements while respecting the spirit of the original establishment. Very excited and we’ll be coming here often.

Had the French pork chop, delicious and well presented. Side dishes could be more plentiful. I went with fries and pasta (limited choices). Fries were good but the pasta was rather plain. Nice salad. After dinner coffee was good. Espresso martini was just ok.

I was looking for water and found this wonderful view off the back porch of this restaurant. The staff was very nice and the food was very good. I only had an appetizer however the food that pasted by my table looked delicious. Even talked to a local guy that was fishing; he had a good day. Can’t wait to go back.

We were there on a busy Sunday evening with a rather large group (15 people) to celebrate my daughter’s college graduation. I can’t say enough good things about our experience! Everything was absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The staff was super friendly and our server Sydney S. was amazing! She and her assistants were super attentive, checking on us continuously to see if anyone needed anything. The food was delicious and even though they were busy, came out very quickly. My husband even ordered a pizza to go (after eating his dinner) and it was still delicious the next day! I brought in our own cake earlier in the morning, and they kept it refrigerated, then brought it out when we were ready, with cake plates and serving utensils, and offered to cut and serve it. The prices were very reasonable and you can’t beat the scenery. We will definitely be going back and I highly, highly recommend!!
