If you’re looking for a good night, DO NOT GO HERE. I walked in with about 6-7 people and instantly every eye in the building was on us. The discomfort was so loud that we decided it would be best to leave. This was the most awkward interaction I’ve ever had at a bar. If you are not a regular, save yourself the discomfort and don’t go.

Locals is the best bar on this beach, maybe even on this half of the continental USA. I have seen more awesome shenanigans go down at this bar than at every other place on Jax beach combined. Bartenders are chill and know their stuff for the most part. Smitty, the manager, is welcoming and level-headed. Beer pong tournament tuesdays are fun and worth going just for the beer deals. I think I will be going back to this place yearly for the rest of my life.

UPDATE: Just went back here yesterday and man was I bummed to find out that you guys doubled Happy Hour prices! Your Happy Hour was a draw for us and many others. I understand having to raise prices a few bucks, but damn to double them seems unreasonable. Now your prices are the same as The Palace. I hope you reconsider your new prices and lower them a bit for your patrons.
Being new to the area my husband and I were looking to find “Our” bar! You know what I mean, the kind of bar where you feel at home. My criteria is simple. Have a pool table, a jukebox, affordable drinks, and good vibes. We walked into Locals and knew we had found it! Great pool tables. They have TouchTunes as well. That’s important! Gotta have a little ZZ Top while I scratch again. They do Happy Hour everyday and it makes us stay longer than we would. Bartenders are great! They remember you and always strike up a conversation. So definitely come check out Locals! You’ll love it here!

I had great customer service and friendly customer interaction. My bartenders Amber and Smitty did an amazing job on their Old Fashions. I had each of them make me one to see who’s scored best with me. I won’t share the overall winner but they both exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and bar crowd. Definitely comeback when I’m in town

We have really enjoyed Locals. The bar has a great atmosphere. The drinks are mixed well. There is a great selection of beers and hard liquors. Rob is our favorite bartender. He’s always friendly and conversational. Can’t beat a happy hour that’s 7 hours long – 1PM to 8PM. Good drinks, good service, all for a great price.
