The food…OH THE FOOD
I don’t know if I could accurately describe how amazing the food in this place is. The waitresses are so nice and helpful when recommending food. This place was so good we ate here twice. The Buttermilk Chicken bites were amazing along with the Bowl of Shame, you won’t be disappointed with either. They do have delicious looking pies if you aren’t too full from lunch or supper! They also have live music which isn’t too loud but isn’t too soft; it’s just right. I could go on and on about how amazing this place is but you will need to try it for yourselves!

Local Flavor Kitchen truly lives up to its name!
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and completely family-friendly. The owners are beyond personable and genuinely care about their guests, which makes the whole experience feel extra special.
Now, the FOOD. Wow. We ordered the crispy fried chicken, green beans, cream cheese corn, and mashed potatoes — and every single bite was incredible. The chicken is hands-down the best I’ve ever had: perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The green beans were seasoned just right, the mashed potatoes were creamy and comforting, and the cream cheese corn was downright addictive.
Our appetizer was the shotgun cheesy bites, and I could happily eat those every visit. Absolute chef’s kiss. The buttermilk ranch and chicken bites deserve a special shoutout too — truly next level.
As someone with celiac disease, I can’t say enough about how safe and thoughtful they are. They have a separate prep station and a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and I had zero issues afterward. Being able to enjoy amazing fried chicken without worry is rare — and Local Flavor Kitchen does it flawlessly.
If you’re in Branson, this place is a must-visit. Incredible food, wonderful people, and an experience that keeps you coming back. We’ll absolutely be returning!

We made reservations in advance. Highly recommend this option as the line was out the door. We tried several starters, but only grabbed a pick of the Brussels. We also had fried cheese and okra which was delish. Everyone at the table got something different and no complaints. The server was great and we witness all the staff turning tables fast to get the guests served.

Local Flavor was highly recommended as it should be. Everything from the sweet tea to the brussel sprouts were on point. We raved over all our dishes with the only semi miss was the adult grilled cheese. Loved the signage that clearly states that this is not McDonald’s The service is great, and there’s a lot of seating but if you do have to wait… Do it!

Had lunch here 10-7-25 group of 5. Waited about 20 minutes to get a table but service was fast and friendly. All of the food we had was good except the fried okra wasn’t hot. I had the Oh Cheesus burger, very good but would be better if it was regular bread on the grilled cheese sandwich’s instead of Texas toast. No complaints though. The “worst salad” was very good. Would definitely go back. Very reasonable prices and good size portions.

I found this place on a last minute Google search. Oh man! Me and my family absolutely love this place! We came here on a Saturday for lunch. Even though the place was packed, I got a table for 4 with only a 30 minute wait. I do not know which part of the experience I enjoyed more. The atmosphere so relaxing and inviting, the service was the best I’ve had in years, and the food was outstanding! This will definitely be a place I visit each and every time I am in Branson!
