Might be a hot take, but I’ve tried a lot of BBQ spots around here, and nothing hits quite like Local Burgy. The portions are generous without being ridiculous, the prices are totally fair for what you get, and the food is consistently solid.
The sauces deserve a shoutout too. They’re clearly homemade and have a great balance of sweet, smoky, and spicy options. Whether you’re a BBQ purist or just want something tasty, you’ll find something that works for you.
The only possible downside is the setup. It’s basically a food truck with a casual outdoor seating area, so don’t go in expecting full restaurant amenities. There’s no sink or bathroom besides a porta potty, so if you’re picky about washing your hands before you eat, definitely come prepared. (They also do provide wet-naps….but I’d bring a water bottle!!!)
All in all, Local Burgy is a not so hidden gem. If you’re in Western Mass and craving BBQ, this place is absolutely worth the stop.

A must stop place if you like BBQ. Fantastic food. Friendly service. We had the brisket meal. Brisket was tender, tender enough to cut with a plastic fork, not too fatty, very flavorful. Loses a star because of underwhelming smokiness flavor and mild flavor corn bread. The Mac and cheese fantastic….creamy, good cheddar cheesy flavor. The Cole slaw fantastic, cold sweet tasting and tangy with no mayonaise…no mayo…super good. French fries fantastic, seasoned and fresh. The BBQ sauce excellent. We highly recommend this place!

First time going here. Was coming back from fishing and was looking for a place to stop and eat in Northampton. Saw this roadside BBQ stand next to a flower shop and decided to stop.
Fries were very good and the brisket was super tender, only complaint was the BBQ sauce made everything super cold. They were still really good and we finished almost the whole plate.
My burger was a little over cooked. When asked how I wanted cooked I said pink, there was no pink at all. Still a very fresh burger and tasted good.
Great local spot if you’re ever out in the area.

Food was outstanding! Best fries I have ever had. Slightly crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Perfect amount of salt. Burgers were cooked to perfection. Wish we lived closer. Or maybe it’s a good thing I don’t Prices are very reasonable.

This play should be on your list of places to try. We’ve been going here for 3 years or so now and we’ve never once been disappointed. The food is incredible, and the staff always brings your food out to you. We went today, and they still brought our food to us in the down pouring rain. It’s worth a drive… we drive 45 mins multiple times a summer… it’s that good.

Brought my BIL here to get a bite after his appointments at the VA down the street. He had to fast, so he was hungry!
He is going through the process of getting dentures, so he currently doesn’t have any teeth.
Before placing our order, we asked if the chef would mind cutting up the lobster meat to accommodate him. They were happy to. (thank you so much)
Lobster Roll was $22 plus tax & came with fries (amazing fries). Totally fair & acceptable price. We each had one.
Food is brought to your table. There is a serve- yourself area with condiments & napkins. I like this bc I was able to try a BBQ sauce with my fries. It was so tasty! Many places charge for extra sauce. I think it’s generous to allow customers to serve their BBQ sauces themselves, & I appreciated it. “This is so good, I could drink it” literally said that to my BIL, ha
The staff was friendly & accommodating.
Lobster tasted fresh, was not overdressed & the bun was perfectly grilled.
I udually go with their awesome BBQ & always wish for the Lobster roll… a real treat to finally make my wish come true.
My BIL thoroughly enjoyed his meal. He said, “This is a lunch that I’ll remember forever”

I had the brisket/ pulled pork combo with Cajun corn. The brisket was a 4, Cajun corn 4, the pulled pork 3 and the corn bread was also a 3. It is definitely a solid option and I plan on returning to try other options.

We were driving up to Vermon, got hungry on the way, and randomly stumbled on this absolute gem of an establishment. Almost in the middle of nowhere, but still almost packed to the brim with people. I have travelled the world, tried a diverse range of cuisine, and I can say without the shadow of a doubt, this is the best burger I have ever had. The grass fed American burger, with onions and pickles, was absolutely amazing. Super juicy, great flavor and fresh ingredients. And to top it off, the chef sent us a complementary plate of their brisket fries, which were also DIVINE. Needless to say, me and the family walked out with burger for the road. In short, quaint atmosphere, super fast service, and the best burgers and brisket you’ll find in a 1000 mile radius.
Edit: The burgers we packed for home were somehow even better. The Williams burger is just chefs kiss. This man’s hands have been touched by God.

OMG WOW is all I can say!! Best lobster rolls I have ever had. This place is a must do if anywhere nearby. Although be prepared to spend money but the money spent was very well worth it. I will do it everytime I nearby.
