Google suggested I review this place and I’m surprised I haven’t already, because I’ve gone here with my ex-girlfriend at least twice a year since 2022 (I live close-ish to Boston otherwise I’d be here more often). I love this place so much. The burger menu is super inventive, the patties have a charcoal flavor to them, and the service is just brilliant and it has been every step of the way. This has become comfort food for me even though her and I split. I still love Local Burger and Keene as a whole and I can’t wait to visit this place again in summer ‘26.

The food here is incredibly mediocre. And for the price we expected at least better than fast food. Sadly, that was not the case.
On the day we went we were the only customers, so one would think that everything would be perfect. Quite the opposite.
We ordered the teriyaki burger and the portobello mushroom with roasted red peppers and feta combination. First off the buns were grocery store quality and barely big enough to hold the burgers. But the size of the burger and the mushroom were so small (6 oz? I don’t think so) that they at least held the food.
The teriyaki burger was not cooked correctly- asked for medium and it was totally cooked through. And tasteless- no teriyaki flavor and the grilled pineapple was meh. The portobello was OK, but nothing to write home about. And since we split the burger and the protobello, this was the opinions of both of us. The fries were a super big portion, but a bit greasy and limp.
Overall, spend your money somewhere else.

Like the other reviews say…Great onion rings!!! Big, flavorful, crunchy, and that can be a meal on it’s own. I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture of my burger because it was so good that I ate it like Scooby Doo.
Great portion size for the price, super clean restaurant, and the guy behind the counter was polite, funny, made good conversation about football while we waited.
They’re family friendly; there was this big chalkboard and kids were just laughing and drawing away while parents ate and watched.
Definitely a 10/10, great job, and thank for the awesome food!!!!

I am happy to have finally gone here. It was a great experience the food was delicious and the staff here were very friendly and professional. We enjoyed the huge onion rings which I very much enjoyed. I got a Juicy Lucy which was delicious. The wait for the food wasn’t too bad around 5pm on a Thursday. The parking situation is not the best. We had to drive around a little to find an open space but it wasn’t too far from the restaurant. I am looking forward to going back again soon?

Local Burger in Keene hits the mark every time. The burgers themselves hit the spot. They look, smell, and most importantly taste amazing. The menu has a bold variety on offer that should appeal to every imaginable demographic. Do yourself a favor, Go to Local Burger.

Food is good, portions are generous. Meat was cooked perfectly, good combos of toppings. Buns are a major weakness, they’re using grocery store type buns for big, juicy burgers so they get soggy instantly. Toasted bakery style buns would be a major improvement worthy of what’s being put on them. Fries are very hit or miss but when they’re done right they’re perfect. Onion rings are always a safe bet, they’re consistently good and flavorful.

Local Burger was great! The burgers and hotdogs were fantastic, but it was the giant beer battered onion rings that were the real showstopper! Highly recommend!

We went today with friends and VERY disappointed! Each couple orders onion rings and fries and was all soggy and undercooked!! Burgers tasted horrible!! Staff were nice but, food was disgusting! Definitely not going back!!!
