Nice atmosphere and nice staff but wait times were too much. I had a party of 6 and our chowders came out warm at best. The wings we ordered had a really good sauce that I couldn’t get enough of. I ordered the teriyaki steak tips medium rare and they came out very very rare, had them sent back to get rid of the dark red from the biggest one and got them all back well done. They did well and removed the items from the bill which was very nice. Seems like hit and miss with certain things.

Staff were friendly but we just did not enjoy our food. I was really looking forward to a good burger but it was well done gray; not a drop of juice on my plate. Wife’s meal was not as exactly described and shrimp were just OK.

The Local Break serves a great dinner. The clam chowder was excellent. The stuffed sole and hot chicken sandwich were both delicious entrees. The flourless chocolate cake for dessert was good. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive. Good location and hours will definitely warrant a return.
