My husband & I have been to Lobby Bar five or six times, from regular weekends to special celebrations with friends & family. Despite encountering issues a few times (some of which were beyond the restaurant’s control), the service has always been stellar, & the food & drinks are consistently good. Specifically, Sam as a hostess, & Raoul & Joe behind the bar, make for a really wonderful experience, with their attentiveness & friendliness. I have gotten the Lobby Bar version of a French 75 (Plenty of Fish in the Sea, served with a caviar-topped potato chip) every time we’ve been. The lobby nuggets & Wagyu pigs-in-a-blanket are also big hits. The only thing that could make it better would be (finally) getting matchbooks!

I went here for a fun dinner and got exactly that! It was a fun place, with a fun twist in classic foods (not in taste but in presentation and ordering). The cocktails were spectacular! The food was solid, but it is not upscale or must have, it’s much more of an environment for a fun good time with classic foods and home feels! I also loved the decor while there- it felt homey.

My friend and I went to the Lobby Bar last night. There’s parking out front and nearby, but the system wasn’t working properly for most of the guests. The host was super friendly and kept an eye on our cars. I made a last-minute reservation, but when my friend arrived, he was able to grab a seat at the bar, and soon after, another seat opened up. The place was packed — it’s pretty small, so it fills up quick. Luckily, the bar seats are first come, first served. Raul and Charlie were our bartenders, and they were awesome! We started with cocktails, then ordered a bunch of appetizers. My friend ordered the Oaxaca Old-Fashioned, and I had the Gracias Poncho — both were perfectly crafted. For apps, we ordered the lobby nuggets, lobby wing board, truffle parmesan fries, crab dip, and Wagyu pigs in a blanket. The nuggets, crab dip, and fries were the highlights of our meal. The wings and Wagyu pigs in a blanket were kind of a letdown — the wings didn’t have much flavor and relied too much on the sauces, and the pigs in a blanket were soggy and wet, making them pretty inedible. But the service was top-notch. Overall, we had a really good time with the cocktails and those few apps. If you’re thinking of going, I’d suggest making a reservation or showing up early.

Make a reservation – it is a small space and seating is limited, so many people were not able to enjoy this adorable place because it was packed and the didn’t have a reservation!
Service – top notch as soon as you walk in.
Food – we opted for the girl dinner – it’s actually why we went there. It was so good, what a genius idea – it said for two but more like for three. I want to go again with my sister!!
Drinks – they were perfect Dirty Martinis.

Saw Lobby Bar on IG and had to try. It didn’t disappoint! They were accommodating with my toddlers stroller. Extremely welcoming just walking inside. British was our server. She was so sweet and gave great recommendations. Chef brought us out deviled eggs and we ordered the girl dinner as well which is a great deal $80 for a big platter and 2 drinks. Would definitely come back. 10 out of 10

Had a great experience tonight at Lobby Bar! Like others, we had seen the bar on social media and decided to check it out!
The host and the manager were so kind, so welcoming and so accommodating that it gave off a hometown bar vibe!! The drinks and the food were a hit, as well! I got the fried chicken sandwich, and all but licked the plate! Our waiter was great too! Will definitely be back!

Eastern Market needed a bar like this! Kinda upscale but can associate with trash behavior. They have good martinis and unique cocktails. I went on Halloween and they had a charcoal martini that was interesting. It’s a cool vibe in here and I need to come back for their girl dinner special

The olive dip was incredible and loved the espresso martinis, especially the pumpkin one! The atmosphere & vibe is very cozy. Best for parties of 2 but they have some larger tables.

Lobby Bar in DC completely exceeded our expectations. We started with appetizers, including the Wagyu pigs in a blanket and the General Tso’s broccolini—both were outstanding and set the tone for the rest of the meal. For dinner, we ordered the double smash burger with truffle fries, spicy rigatoni, and the girl dinner (If you had never heard of it it’s chicken nuggets, Caesar salad, truffle fries which comes with 2 cocktails, very unique and so much food) and every dish was absolutely incredible. The flavors were bold, well-balanced, and clearly thoughtfully prepared.
We also enjoyed a great selection of drinks, including cocktails, wine, the Gracias Poncho, and a margatini, all of which were expertly made and complemented the food perfectly.
The service really stood out—our waiters were attentive, friendly, and made us feel well taken care of without being overbearing. The atmosphere was equally impressive: stylish, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed but elevated night out.
Overall, Lobby Bar delivers amazing food, excellent drinks, and top-notch service in a very nice setting. Highly recommend and definitely looking forward to coming back.
