Place has a nice selection with SOME fair prices. They have a bourbon cabinet where they think it’s cool to charge 5-10x MSRP because some of those bottles are more rare. Other stores don’t do that. Previous owners did not do this. So, this will be my last time there. Won’t support a store that thinks they need to price gouge certain customers.

I previously purchased two bottles of 2005 Carruades de Lafite and Château Lafite Rothschild from W H Frank Wine & Liquor, and both were in excellent condition. However, my recent purchase of a 2005 Château Cheval Blanc was a disappointment. The wine’s cork was entirely covered in mold.
When I brought this issue to their attention, their response was completely unsatisfactory. They refused to take any responsibility, claiming that once the wine leaves their store, they are not accountable for its condition. Moreover, they unfairly blamed me, suggesting that I either did not store the wine properly or might have swapped it with another bottle. I have a wine fridge and take great care in storing my wines, so their accusations were baseless and offensive.
To add to my confusion, I noticed there was plastic on the cork and two caps on the bottle. Their explanation was that the wine comes like this from the manufacturer. It later became clear that this was likely to hide the fact that the cork was already compromised and protruding. I trusted them and was deeply disappointed by their lack of transparency.
I have included images of the moldy cork and the unusual bottle packaging. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and their lack of customer service and accountability is unacceptable. I would caution others against purchasing from this store due to their poor handling of legitimate customer concerns.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at W H Frank Wine & Liquor. I picked up a bottle that was placed in a clearly faulty bag, which resulted in the bottle breaking immediately after I left the store. What’s even more frustrating is that when I came right back inside with pictures & proof of it on the ground, I received no support or acknowledgment from the business at all. In fact, I was accused of melting the bag “somehow” because it looked like heat was applied when I literally JUST LEFT the store. After realizing they weren’t willing to offer any kind of compensation or even an apology, I told them my family & I will never be back, in which they pretty much said it didn’t matter. This lack of care for proper packaging and customer service added to the fact they often open late & close early with no explanation has left me with a such sour taste, I wouldn’t recommended them to anybody. Go to ABK or Mozzys!!!

New owners are jacking up prices insanely unfairly. Ig guess it’s great they’re open 7 days a week and later hours, but when they’re charging $70 for bottles that were prices 35 with the precious owners, you lose me. 2015 Baumard Savennieres is the wine in question. Shameful and insulting to people who actually know about wine. The owners here price their wines by googling prices.

I have nothing but great things to say about the staff, they are wonderful and know what they are doing. Unfortunately business and politics should not be mix. Sharing and placing politicians who don’t deserve to be in office, should not be place, or display anywhere in the store. I hate to say it, but I will never visit Franks again.

Good selection of liquor but need to lose the political nonsense they had by the register. I won’t be going back. Plenty of other places sell liquor at better prices without telling you to vote for a deranged billionaire.
