Just off the plane from Hawaii and it is exactly how it tastes in Kailua. Service was great. Food always hot and fresh, dining room clean and overall great experience for a short order chain. Mahalo

I’ve had similar Hawaiian food at other restaurants, and this just wasn’t as good. I ordered the chicken katsu, and it was way too fried. The breading was really heavy and tasted as if it had been fried for too long. The macaroni salad was runny/watery, which made it unappetizing. The people were nice and the food was quick, but this order alone doesn’t convince me to go back and try something else.

Ordered the garlic chicken today. Total over 18 bucks. The chicken was the lowest quality giblet meat, gamey tasting. 70 percent breaded and 30 percent chicken. My fork couldnt even pierce the meat, so dense with fry batter. I would have asked for a refund, but I needed to get back to work.

Food is good, at least #1 in the menu: barbeque mix. I was able to eat only half (YMMV) so I have it To Go but this one is tasty. Beware, if you dine in, you probably smell barbeque afterwards. AMEX is not accepted.

Pleasanton, CA. Onolicious kalua pork, not too salty, zero fat or grease, it was great! Nice cold fresh Hawaii-style mac salad and rice. Perfect L&L taste.

Placed a phone order for a bbq plate and wanted to add veggies and Mac instead of only rice for a side. Went there picked it up, and I only got veggies and rice. So I went back in to let them know they forgot my macaroni. Younger asian man gave me an attitude and didn’t make eye contact with me. Once my food was done being corrected he tossed my food on the table in front of me. So rude!! Never going here again.

I like L&L and the food is usually solid but my poor rating is due to the service (guy at the cashier is clueless and rude). I tried to get a drink after paying for my food with card and gave the guy some $1 coins and he didn’t know what they were and would NOT accept them. Said “we don’t need that.”
Sorry bud, but just about the only qualifications for being a cashier are “know what money is and how to count it” and you failed even that. You shouldn’t be a cashier if you don’t know what money looks like much less be rude about it.

Island Vibes for your Taste buds, when you cant go to hawaii Go here and grab plate, It might be ethe most dressed up spot to eat but the food brings back great travel memories and is consistant.

Food is good as usual for an L&L but this location’s service is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The cashier looked like he just woke up from a nap and did not want to be there. He seemed bothered and uninterested in answering any questions. Definitely lacking in any quality customer service here. Will not ever return to this location again.
