I went to get food in the afternoon after a long day at work and decided to try L&L after a friend recommended it to me. The staff was really supportive helping me choose what to get. While the food is a little pricey but it’s worth it. I got the mix plate and a half and half with the katsu and beef. The food was really good and had pretty good portion size as I was able to take some leftovers for dinner. Overall my experience here was really good and I recommend the katsu and the mix plate .

I got the regular sized Chicken Katsu. You can choose 3 sides. I had two rice and one macaroni salad. The dipping sauce is sooo good. Extras cost 75 cents. There’s so much food I was able to have some for lunch and dinner. Definitely would recommend going here.

Yummy Hawaiian food made to the standard you would expect from any L&L BBQ yet lack clean dining area and restroom facilities.
The food was yummy. The Katsu chicken and beef bbq was flavorful and delivered presentable. The side macaroni salad was on point. The Spam Musubi was a bit on the burnt side and could have used a bit of improvement.
Yet I was surprised by the poor condition of the dining area. It felt it need a thorough cleaning from the floors to the tables even the walls had damage or “gunk” serious calling to question the quality that is put in make the food. These issues I only noticed once I sat down after I ordered. If sat down prior to ordering I don’t think I would have ordered based on what I observed.
There seemed to be plenty of seating both indoors and outside. The staff that took my order was friendly.

Nice staff, great food, and a great price. I had the Chicken Katsu bowl, which was great. Came with plenty of sauce on the side so you can add as much as you want. Has a decent amount of seating, but seems like main focus is to-go, since the food is brought out in to-go containers whether you sit down or not. Overall, great experience and would go again.

I was craving Spam Masubi so I came here. Unfortunately, the Spam Masubi tasted like it was sitting all day. The Spam was thin, crispy and dry. Not cooked the way I’m used to. I bit into it and it didn’t have a fresh taste to it. I also ordered the combination plate with beef short ribs and fried shrimp. The short ribs were on the saltier side, but tender and flavorful. The fried shrimp were cooked too long tasting harder and crunchier than they should have been. The white rice was soft and fresh. The macaroni salad was fresh. The service was great. Server is friendly. The food also came quick. I may come back to give this place a second try in case they were off their game. But $32 for an unpleasant experience was too expensive.

This location has a nice Hawaiian vibe with Hawaiian music, photos on the wall and delicious aromas. The size of the regular plates used to be smaller compared to other locations but it is comparable now. Scoop sizes for rice and mac salad are still small and not a “full” regular sized scoop. Staff are always nice and friendly. No senior discounts.

What kind of food establishment doesn’t have a restroom for their customers? How am I supposed to wash my hands? Food was horrible it was lazily made. Also the cashier had an attitude. Their machine also doesn’t take phone tap. They ask if it’s Apple pay as if it’s the only payment type in the universe.

The employees were very nice but it was a complete waste of money buying food from this particular L&L location. We spent $36 on food and probably ate $10 worth because it was that bad. I got the lumpia’s which were the size of mini corn dogs and a they were not crunchy. In their photo located on their store front the lumpia’s look like long taquitos but are actually like an inch and a half in size. Then we ordered spam masubis , the spam was cut extremely thin and one piece of spam was a light grayish color and they put way too much rice. Lastly we got the chicken Katsu and it was more breading than chicken. The meat on the chicken Katsu was so thin and the sauce that comes with it tasted alittle off. We’ve had plenty of L&L Hawaiian BBQ so it’s sad that this particular location was such a disappointment. I wish the food was as great as the staff’s hospitality. But if I could give 0 stars on the food I would.
