I read the reviews and looked at the menu. I was excited to try this pizza. It was just myself so I ordered the personal size. It wasn’t the exact style of deep dish as the larger sizes, but I could see when it was delivered to my table that I wasn’t going to be disappointed. Piled high with cheese baked to brown perfection. It was so incredibly delicious! I don’t know how, but it is beyond other pizza. The proprietor, 75-year-old Janis Jackson, is running this place by herself, and is looking to sell the business. Go support this woman and eat the best pizza of your life, before it’s too late!

Stopped in for pizza and wings. Some of the best I’ve had. We’re from Mesa & I can say well worth the experience. The lady helping us was so sweet, engaged in great conversation. The hospitality couldn’t be better. Highly recommended food. If the phone isn’t working for take out, just drive in. It’s well worth it & She’s so welcoming. Just a good person with a good heart & great food service, what a great local business to support!!!

Big Daddy’s in Tonto Basin is nothing fancy to look at inside or out. Their Pizza, is a different story it is EXTRAORDINARY!!!
We ordered a 16″ large pepperoni and onion. This pizza is a deep dish sort of like a sandwich the pepperoni and onion are underneath the cheese, on a thick delicious bed of dough. You have to try it to really appreciate the goodness.

Took a little cruise to Tonto letting my teen practice driving on the highway and stopped in and had a half pepperoni, half ham and pineapple. It was delicious one slice each and got full took half home and ate it later and was just as good then. Great service great pizza will be going back again for sure. P.S. Cash only

Small local eatery which we chose as there were no other options. Pizza was dang good. I had Chile Verde Burrito with a generous helping of their home made hot sauce which was delicious. The staff were excellent and friendly and I highly recommend this place if you’re visiting the Tonto National Monument.

This was the best pizza I have had in a long time. The whole place is run by one woman with one pizza oven, so don’t expect speed for multiple orders. However, the pizza was worth the wait and, if I am in that area again, I will certainly make another trip for another fantastic pizza. I did a cheese pizza and added ham, black olives, mushroom and onions.
