Food was surprisingly fresh and tasty. Maybe Ymir was the late hour or maybe just got lucky. You also get a lot of food for the money which is nice and service was very pleasant. My only complaint might be that the spam musubi to rice ratio was off. Way too much rice for the thinness of the spam slice. Beef teriyaki was a little over cooked, but chicken was delish and short rib cooked to perfection.

This is the original Hawaiian BBQ in this area. Others claim to be the original, but nope, it’s this one! Food is terrific for the most part. I love the chicken katsu, their beef, and their shrimp & fish. Try the combo that comes with the chicken, fish, and shrimp! The short rib combo is great too. I think it’s #8. Definitely recommend those.
We didnt care for the beef curry too much. It was ok; the beef was juicy & tender. It just wasnt the sort of curry we were expecting.
Be sure to ask for any sauces that come with it. You have to ask for utensils now, too – new law.
Only two flaws about this place: The prices on many of the items listed on the menu were incorrect when we visited the other evening. The posted menu says one price, their registers will charge you a few dollars more. Hopefully they put a new menu up soon.
The other issue is this place is next to a shop that looks closed down which makes the shopping center look run down, especially at night. This attracts bums which were loitering around the corner – NOT in front of L&L thankfully!
An added plus, they have a TV which had a college football game on to watch while we waited for our food.

All the dishes are yummy, but my favorites are the beef plate (comes with beef, rice, and Mac salad) and the masubi.
Service was quick. Waited about 10-15 min for fresh food made to order so it’s not lying around in food warmers.
I didn’t eat here because I usually take my food to go, but the dining area is pretty spacious with lots of seating.

This food and service is amazing. They really read the request notes when ordering online. I ordered fries instead of rice and they listened ☺️ Next time I’m want Hawaiian, I’ll order from this place again. The food was really good, I should have waited to take pictures but it was too tempting to eat The fried shrimp with white sauce and bbq chicken are my favorite. Their chicken katsu and fries are loved by my family.
