First time trying a Hawaiian BBQ resturant. In short the food taste great, and I’m mainly rating it 5 stars for the price of the menu. It’s affordable considering the amount and variety of food.

The mixed grill was tasty ($14): chicken was juicy, large teriyaki beef was great and beef short rib was good. There was a large quantity of rice. The macroni salad was fresh. The Teri beef Musubi ($3) was OK (should ask for a bbq dipping sauce).

The atmosphere is not the best, so you are mainly there to either eat quick and leave or pick up the food and eat somewhere else.

We were greeted by a smiling employee behind the counter, wondering what to order. A few things had been suggested, but I decided on the pork and cabbage plate.
The restaurant was not that busy but everyone seemed to be enjoying their lunch.
The pork and cabbage came out very hot, even recommending to use napkins to carry the container.
The pork was succulent. It was tender and blended well with the cabbage. The macaroni salad was a bit bland, also had a unique flavor.

Unbelievable. I have been coming here since this place opened. I was with my two younger daughters celebrating my daughter for a big accomplishment and asked this couple at a table to make some space for us very kindly and thought nothing of it. Later this gentleman decided to cuss me and my teenage daughter here and threaten our safety and say racist comments. Thankfully a kind customer stood up for us but no manager came out to deflate the situation so we left to ensure the aggravated man left. When I returned to collect the food I payed for, no employee apologized for the danger I went through. I am sad to say I will not be returning to this establishment.

Went in today for 2 3 entree meals, left with just one after repeatedly saying I wanted to just for the cashier to still ring in one, she had a sour attitude the whole time, I then ordered a strawberry boba drink and gave me a passion fruit drink instead. Love the food but service ( which is simple manners and understanding) need to be heavily improved on. Food was great though.

Placed an order through the app for pick up and listed a food allergy in the comments. Part of the dish had the allergy and the team called me before I could even get in my car to let me know. They were able to fix the order and accommodate for the allergy once we got there! 10 out of 10 service!

Good Hawaiian food in a small counterserve setting. The kalua pork with cabbage is my favorite here, but there are several other good options. The maccheroni salad side is excellent.

Service can depend on who is working the counter. Normally, it’s fast, friendly and accurate. Today, one cashier got my change wrong and handed out the wrong order to a couple of other customers. At lunchtime, it can be very busy.

There is some parking on the street, but more in the lot behind the store.

Can’t go wrong here. Good service. Place always full of customers because the food is DA BOMB ! When I got full, I walked up to the counter, gf at the register turned around with a to go bag. On it! I ate the rest at work. My man always gets the guava juice. Can’t it get anywhere else, that we know of, unless you order it delivered. BTW, other so called Hawaiian places, their Mac is yuck. This the one that sets the standard. You just want to order another one on the side, for later.

If you are looking for a dive with good Hawaiian food then this is your spot. You order at the counter and then find a spot to sit until they call your name. Most customers are collar workers looking for good food and a good value with big portions. This place delivers on all three. The Loco Moco was very tasty. The burger patty wasn’t dry and the gravy was tasty. The eggs were good just right. They were very busy during lunch but they get their orders out fast. Would definitely come again next time I’m in town.

Only issue is with misubi, not nearly enough sauce In comparison to rice, outside of spam misubi( because spam has so much salt and flavor) give me like 25% more sauce and they would be perfect especially with the chicken katsu. It has great flavor, but there’s so much rice you can’t even taste the katsu, so either less rice or more sauce PLEASE
