I am super upset. I came in and ordered $90 worth of food. First time ever trying this place. People raved about it. So I was excited to try it. Especially since I am moving in a week. Got to the point to check out and I knew I had $81.19 on one card. So I wanted to do split payment. Cool no problem. Took the money off that card. Swiped another card and guess what it took the whole $90 again. I showed to the staff where it charged me on both cards. But guess what, of course they couldn’t do anything to fix it. They tell me to contact my bank. MY BANK DID NOT MESS UP! YALL DID. Called the manager of course they “couldn’t” do anything. How can you see the charges and not refund me. I was told oh if your bank can’t help and it doesn’t fall off in 5-7 business days we will see if there is anything we can do. No no no. Do something now. The card I paid with is a prepaid card, not a bank. So once the money is gone. ITS GONE! So looks like I just lost $81.19 bc they aren’t gonna refund me. Shame on them. Especially when they can see it POSTED as paid. If you eat here bring cash! All I got to say.

Stopped by today for early lunch, to avoid noisy crowds…no change, service WITH a smile!!!

I got a mixed BBQ combo, wife got her favorite Kalua Lau Lau plate.
My BBQ had tasty beef and ribs but, chicken wasn’t flavorful at all???
As always, my oddball haole wife enjoyed her Lau Lau and kalua
We do so wish they had manapuas A perfect snacks for after a good lunch
Nothing like eating good local BBQ while bruddah Iz singing “White sandy beach” on TV video Bring back memories of home
Any ways, they ship Lau Lau from Hawaii, WHY NOT the manapua???

We ordered the BBQ chicken and BBQ beef plates and they were both so delicious. The beef tastes like really juicy delicious beef jerky! The Mac salad and rice were spot on too. 10/10 would highly recommend!!!

I usually come in with my wife, but today I stopped by on my own, and just like every other time the food was absolutely incredible! Everything is always so fresh and full of flavor. The place is spotless, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. I have to mention the lady with the piercings—she’s always so kind and gets my order perfect every time. You guys never miss. Thank you for making every visit such a great experience! my daughter loves her knew shirt.

I’m so excited we have an L & L here. My husband and I met in Hawaii and ate here occasionally. The mac salad was the first bit we both took.
The food was delicious. My only feedback was the Kailua Pork needs some work. The flavor seemed off. It was bland. Maybe just an off day.
Also the prices are pretty high for a walk up spot. Seems like HI pricing today since we used to eat for under 10 buck there back when we lived in Hawaii. I’m sure it is more pricey today. Maybe sourcing?!

Parking is a little tight. You can eat in or out. We ate in , great music Hawaiian of course. Friendly employees, I got the BBQ mix. Hands down taste like the ones in Hawaii. Will definitely go back and try something else.

The food is mediocre and never tastes fresh. My boyfriend and I visited today and was told that they were having a special, buy a plate get a musabi for $1. As soon as we ate the musabi it made sense why it was so cheap. It was old. The spam was hard to bite into and the rice was mushy. On top of that we got loco moco and asked for over easy eggs. The eggs were hard… whomever the cook is cannot get it right. From the first month they opened. Too much money spent to be given food like this. We will not keep wasting our time and money on old food.

Went on the grand opening so the service was expected to be kinda crazy today! But everything else was absolutely awesome! My boyfriend got the bbq mix plate and he said it was well worth the wait and price in the end! It was my first time trying it and I was super surprised with how much I liked it. Well worth the wait. The dancing and music from the entertainers was so cute too!!

I absolutely love L&L Hawaiian BBQ Jacksonville! The food tastes just like what you’d get in Hawaii — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The BBQ mix and mac salad are my favorites! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has such a warm island vibe. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Hawaiian comfort food!
