Ok my camera was full so I did not get pictures but will add later. A MUST GO! I had a sea salted caramel custard. Yummy. I owner is an amazing woman with a huge heart and fantastic energy. I think we are going to be BFFs since I see my future eating meals here until the kitchen at my new place is built. Moving to town and this will be close for me. Hope to see a ton of you there soon!

It’s a joy to visit Gooches as their staff is always friendly! I love their custard, especially the salted caramel! They also have great healthy food. A favorite is the Southwest Chicken Bowl. My wife loves the Spicy Asian Bowl. We’ve never been disappointed. It’s a must stop if in Piedmont!

While camping in Clearwater Piedmont campground I took my wife, our son, his wife and their son for ice cream. We were 1) disappointed with the quality of the ice cream (best choice brand); 2) the cost of the ice cream ($38 for 4 items; $1 for a cup of iced tap water); 3) the quality of the final product (ice cream was melted); 4) and the friendliness and customer service of the team, especially the older guy acting like the owner.
We will not be back and when we were visited by our daughter, her husband and their son, we did not waste our time with a second visit. After spending about $10 just for 2 scoops of Best Choice it would be better to go to the Town and Country Supermarket next time. Sad!

Gooch’s and Piedmont was delightful. Our family passed through and were glad we stopped. The owners are so welcoming and the food tasted great. It was affordable with awesome portions. We finished with desserts and a beautiful sunset before heading on to our destination, but we will be back!

This place is adorable and the staff is nice! We visited passing by. I would say definitely more of a treat stop. The wrap and quesadilla we had weren’t great but they heap on toppings of concretes like real mvps.

The girls working the front counter were super sweet and informative! However my review targets the guy in the back making the food, he portrays poor customer service.! Screwed up my order by making the wrong thing, instead of offering an apology or the correct food item, he made me feel guilty for asking for what I ordered and paid for. I got a copy of my receipt, even after showing him the receipt he was still hesitant to make it right! I don’t expect the world but kindess matters. First time and Last time!

A group from my university went to get ice cream here for a trip during the eclipse, and they were so welcoming and friendly. One of the employees took our photo and was telling us about the history of the place and he was so nice to us. And the food was great and super reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
