Waited a long time for the food. Some of the blandest Caribbean food I have had in a while. The Mac and cheese was not baked, the oxtail was tough and tasteless and the stew chicken was bland as well. $60 was way too much for no PLANTAINS! If I was dining in, I would get a refund. Had to get checkers for dinner instead.

my dhal puri was all puri & no dhal . i basically received just roti and i like roti but that wasn’t what i ordered . the plantains and the curry sauce … bland . overall flavors of the meal were disappointing . i’m giving two stars because it was edible , competitively priced & the guy at the counter was pretty pleasant .

So it has been years since I stepped foot into Liz international Roti Shop and I will never make that mistake again…. Today I was feening for a good Roti so I stopped at international Roti House on Covington but when I pulled up the line was out the door and I was like nope (I should have waited). On my way home I remembered that Liz shop was on Covington also. My husband I went in and ordered 2 bone out roti some phalouri, and some drinks (2 guava, 1 Sorrell, 4 soursop). It didn’t occur to me then that though I was in a Roti Shop I wasn’t smelling no type of curry or seasoning. When we got home I was ready my mouth was watering I just knew this was going to be good. Sad to say on that first bite I thought I had covid because I didn’t taste any curry or seasoning. I looked at my husband because I knew I had to have covid…. he bit into his and was like this don’t have no taste to it it’s bland. The soursop taste like Lemonade, the Sorrell taste like red Kool aid and the guava juice taste like red Kool aid and Lemonade mixed. This was the worst curry I have ever had. (I don’t even want to call it curry because I didn’t taste any curry at ALL). I will be patient and wait next time. I gave them 2 stars because the phalouri was good.

VERY RUDE ! I called and asked for doubles and the man on the phone got very hostile and asked “Didn’t you just call and I give you an answer “ mind you this was MY FIRST TIME CALLING ! then when I got rude with him and told him watch who he talking to that’s not how he answers the phone for customers he started talking disrespectful about me to someone else in the background! I use to love this place but the customer service is HORRIBLE! They never have what you ask and then they tell you it can be made upon request I asked how long it takes he caught an attitude again !! Like this is not how you treat people who’s supporting your small business

This place is a gem. I’m from Miami and I grew up on this stuff, and this is definitely Roti House Style. So glad to have found this taste of home. The flavors are bright, the portions are large, and the prices are well below where they should be. Be aware that they lean into the traditional spices levels–this is not jerk chicken from Bahama Breeze (yuck!) The guys were very nice. Can’t wait to go back.

Co-worker told about this place very disappointed, went there to buy Roti bought 4. They were expensive for one then I get hm the skin is a lil hard and meat more like stew when it should be curried and don’t have no kind of curry flavor but can taste nothing but pepper. When I told the Jamaican guy who took my order that I’m used to $6 & $7 Roti from Ali’s in Brooklyn that I have yet to taste better he told me I would change of heart and I will be bk, sorry I wouldn’t first and last time. Skin not even big enough to wrap properly. If u r looking for a good Roti please don’t waste ur time or money
