The menu expands to incredible mahi tacos, juicy griddled burgers & dogs, chicken tenders, fan fav Liv’s truffle fries, a full kids menu, sides & more! Executive Chef/Owner John Brescio, of 17 years running Liv’s Oyster Bar, and wife Mandy Brescio opened Liv’s Shack in 2014. They proudly work with fellow family owned businesses for vending. Dining at Liv’s Shack, you’ll have a perfectly prepared meal served by their always friendly staff. They are BYOB & the outdoor (only) seating is stocked full of table and lawn games that’ll keep your entire family entertained! A must visit this summer!

This is such a cute lil spot in old saybrook near the water. The outdoor seating offers fun board games. The lobster roll was 10/10 the only thing missing was a lemon on the side. The truffle parm fries were an 11/10. The lemonade was also an 11/10. Such a nice summer spot for lunch or early dinner! Free parking is offered. This place is alittle pricey for 3 people our bill was over $100. A lobster roll is almost $30. Definitely recommend the lobster roll though! Will be back again soon!

Order the fried fish sandwich. Came with lettuce, tomato, and other fixings. I also ordered some fries. Sadly, I found the fish in my sandwich barely had much flavor to it. I would like return here cause the place seems to have a great vibe to it. Menu also has a lot of variety and great options. Has some nice outdoor seating as well and umbrellas to save you from the sun. Staff was friendly and helpful. Next time I will have to pick another item.

Lobster roll was very good. The bun was toasted and buttery, and the lobster was basically just lobster. I might have wanted it to be tossed in more butter, but that is probably more a me problem than a then problem.

I have always enjoyed the fish tacos; they are the best on the shoreline. Two days ago I tried the shrimp tacos and could not believe how delicious they were, I am convinced you also have the best shrimp tacos anywhere in the state. The kids and I thoroughly enjoy eating there and takeout. Thank you for a great dining experience. This is definitely a go-to spot with the most friendly and kind staff.

There isn’t enough seating or parking for that matter. You wait an extremely long time for your food but, with that being said, the food was amazing. Would I go back again, possibly but not likely. The cost is higher than a lot of their competitors which ultimately sways my decision to return or not. Great food though! If you have the money and time, I highly recommend them!

Their lobster roll are amazing. It’s completely different than most with no Mayo and only butter. It’s more like eat a lobster than a sub. The truffle fries were a nice compliment to go along. Also, they are BYOB which was nice
