My son had a craving for tamjai yunnan noodles so I did a quick search and we ended up here. It’s not the same as the one we were looking for but the experience was interesting! And the noodles were quite good. Beware the super hot bowl!

We ordered A1 (Traditional crossing the bridge rice noodle) and C2 (braised beef brisket rice noodle soup). C2 stood out with its rich flavour, as it’s a braised beef noodle soup. It had the comforting taste of a classic Chinese noodle soup with very soft rice noodles. A1 came with plenty of ingredients, but it was less flavourful compared to C2. Still, it was an interesting dish, and I might try a rice dish next time.

I had C2. Very flavorful. Brisket was far less fatty than you’d usually get. Broth had amazing flavor. Wife had W1 – delicate broth with a lot of wontons. Also had the spicy pickled veggies. Waitress warned me they were extremely spicy. Great flavor. Mid spicy. I’m sold. Really good.

My dad and I went for lunch on a Friday in July 2024, on our way to the airport. It was right when they opened for the day, so service was quick. Although we are Chinese and eat a lot of Chinese food, we’ve never had Crossing Bridge Rice Noodle Soup! Well it hit the spot in flavor and quantity and quality! My dad got the Pork CBRNS, and I got the vegetarian CBRNS. I love how the restaurant has visual aids/ explanations – on the table, there are instructions on how to eat the Crossing Bridge Soup; on the wall, you can read the story behind it! The signs and servers use English and Chinese (Mandarin. maybe other dialects too?) They have other non-soup selections too. We also ordered a beef brisket, which is small, like a tapas size; a nice complement to our soups or to other side dishes. Definitely recommend!

Authentic Yunnan chicken and duck soup, warm service, the taste of tofu rice noodles is a little bit not to my taste, not the Yunnan feeling I usually eat, but overall it is still a relatively authentic Yunnan taste
