Located on the landmark corner of West 4th St. & 7th Avenue, our newest Little Ruby’s Cafe features an airy, multi-level space. A first for Little Ruby’s, West Village offers a full bar with an exclusive cocktail program alongside our classic menu with new dishes unique to the location. With an expansive terrace and sweeping windows, the West Village restaurant invites guests to absorb the energy of the neighborhood as they enjoy their morning brekkie or grab cocktails and dinner with friends. Opening October 2023. Reservations and walk-ins will be accepted. Little Ruby’s West Village will be open 7 days a week for brekkie, lunch, and dinner.

We walked in on a Friday evening at 6:30. Service was fast and amazing. Me and my friends had an amazing time and the atmosphere is something you would expect from a lovely crowd.

The food at Little Ruby’s is fantastic — the crispy brussel sprouts were a standout and the truffle fries were equally delicious. Everything we ordered was really well done. Would absolutely come back for the menu alone.
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the experience. Throughout dinner, staff kept coming by to clear dishes and rush us along. Then the moment we paid the check, someone came over to let us know a reservation needed our table — basically telling us to get up and leave. It took away from what was otherwise a really great meal. A little more tact would go a long way.

This was a delightful spot for a light lunch. The roasted chicken avocado salad tossed in lemony vinaigrette was flavorful with balanced acidity. The fresh pineapple mint juice was a light and refreshing blended mocktail that felt like an energy boost. I also enjoyed the truffle fries and seasonal drink (cinnamon, maple latte). No wait when we walked in at 2 pm on a winter Saturday.

Halloween in the West Village is an experience! Made reservations at Little Ruby’s…thank goodness bc the city of course was packed. Wait wasn’t long and we were seated away from the front but with a window view so we can watch costumed pedestrians walk by. Our Pirate server was amazing! She checked on us often and offered perfect dining suggestions. I had gluten-free Ragu and loved the taste & texture of the pasta (wasn’t spongey or gritty). For appetizers we had the french fries with truffle aoili and the sweet potato fries, both had the perfect crunch. The aoili fries was the winner. The other dishes included a huge burger and shrimp pasta. Everyone finished their dishes with no leftovers! For dessert, we had the chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream. And to my luck, it was flourless…divine decadence! Great ambience with dim lighting, modern music playing in the background, and diners in their costumed best!

Little Ruby’s West Village never disappoints! The food is always fresh and full of flavor, the pasta was rich and comforting, and the burger with fries hit the perfect balance of juicy and crispy. Their iced latte was smooth and refreshing, easily one of the best in the area. The space feels cozy yet modern, with great natural light and a relaxed vibe. Perfect spot for a casual lunch or weekend brunch. Highly recommend!

The cream of creamy chicken was delicious, it was perfectly seasoned! I wish the rigatoni was a little softer, just a personal preference. Some people might prefer otherwise. The natural lighting on a nice day makes an unbeatable combo

the grilled chicken sandwich is a joke. i had to look 2 times to see if there was actually any chicken on it. i’m not even the biggest eater and i still think it was ridiculously small. I think the breast was maybe 3oz and there was more bun than chicken for sure. Won’t get that again. Jacks Wife Freda chicken sando destroys this place. i was looking for another alternative for a grilled chicken and this sadly is not it. The other annoying this is 12oz beer pour. If ya are going to have draft beer, put it in a pint glass. It was my 1st time here – don’t see myself coming back, my total impression was cutting corners for profits

Amazing coffee as well as a hot chocolate with marshmallows and we received great service from our server. We had the avocado toast which was amazing. Definitely recommend!

Really loved this place for brunch, we had the ricotta pancakes (were absolutely delicious) and the sweet potato fries. Very good coffee as well.
