Our first visit to the Little Rooster Café, and it won’t be our last. We come to Manchester every year for a couple of days of shopping and relaxing, and this spot was a perfect addition to the trip. I had the avocado toast with fruit—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and warm, with that small-town feel that makes you instantly comfortable. A great breakfast experience all around. Highly recommend!

Cute little diner in the center of town. Small wait but we were able to sit at the counter. Delicious pancakes and bacon. Father in law got eggs and toast with hash and he said it was good as well. I think my pancakes were sourdough pancakes? Very cool. Fresh squeezed OJ

First time at cafe. Do not take reservations and it is first come first serve. Arrived just in time to get a nice window table. Cafe fills up fast and now I know why. Service quick, with a smile and food out quickly. We had fresh decaf coffee and pleasantly surprised it did not have the typical bitter taste from most restaurants. We had the 2 flapjacks breakfast adding blueberries to mine. Light and fluffy with a nice buttermilk flavor. Plenty of butter to melt over and maple syrup.

Came here for a breakfast after a long day of snowboarding.
The servers were friendly and inviting. The food felt properly home made. No fancy, unnecessary ingredients. Just delicious food. And the coffee stayed topped off and hot.
Will certainly return when we are back in Manchester!

Nice little cafe with locally sourced food and homemade food style menu. The food and coffee were excellent and delicious! Food was served in no time yet was made to perfection!
Kids had pancakes and waffles with chocolate chips and fruits and both finished their meals which is a first! We had Gardner platter and omelette both tested delicious. For the vegetarian in our family we had avocado toast and it was okay-ish
Love the vibes of the family restaurant and the decorations. The only thing that we didn’t like is it was too cold as the air conditioning outlet is under the table where we sat. The service was good!

Cute little place in Manchester. My mom and I were shopping for the holidays and needed lunch. This restaurant just happened to be next to the kitchen store we were at so we tried it out. We both had the reuben and it was delicious. It’s served with a carrot salad which was a nice change from fries or chips. Would definitely visit again:)

Nice little cafe, you can tell it’s a local gathering spot, everyone seems to know everyone there. Staff was very friendly and cheerful. Food was great, homey comfort food. I go there often when I am in the area.

We travel with other couples often, sometimes ordering disproportionately priced dishes. For this reason, we often ask for 2 checks . This restaurant has a policy disallowing this common offering. If I had seen this printed policy at the bottom of their menu taped up in the window in advance, we would have gone elsewhere, saving us the 30 minute wait. We were too engaged in conversation. Also included in the policy is a $2 upcharge for those that wish to share a dish. I do not know if they accept credit cards because our friends kindly insisted on paying for breakfast and did so with cash. If either of these policies is an issue for you, consider yourself forewarned. As far as the restaurant and food…it is a cute little cafe in the center of town that was very clean. Nice breakfast atmosphere that included bar seating. The food was good but not the best. The shredded hash browns were bland, appeared commercially processed and were undercooked with little brown. The corned beef hash appeared home made and was very good. They do not offer the breakfast staple, Eggs Benedict. The other three at our table were very satisfied with their meals. Our waitress, Michelle, was extremely pleasant and very attentive.

The Little Rooster Cafe is located at 4764 Main Street, Manchester Center, Vermont.
It is known for its cozy atmosphere and a menu that features classic breakfast and brunch items like pancakes, frittatas, bottomless coffee and all day breakfast items. The owner is working the grill. The servers are super friendly. A family atmosphere. They check in , refresh your coffee and make sure you’re ok. The food OMG off the chart cooked home style. The flap jacks perfectly cooked / light and melt in your mouth delicious. The eggs / omelettes and potatoes / heavenly!! They list the specials of the day on a chalkboard.

I’ve been to a few other breakfast places in the area but I think Little Rooster Cafe’ is my current favorite. The food was great, the prices weren’t bad, and they got me in and out efficiently. My only complaint was they sat me in a weird spot at the counter where I had figurines and other things in my way but other than that I had a great experience.
