Wife and I stopped around noon on 12/30. Fairly busy but seated quickly.
Drink and food order taken quickly and everything came to table quickly.
Wife had the breaded tenderloin sandwich and fries. It came as she ordered and she said it was good.
I had the grilled tenderloin sandwich and cole slaw. The tenderloin was great but but could have been toasted a little more to keep juices from soaking into it. Not a big issue but thought I’d mention it. The Cole slaw was also good.
Every member of the staff was fantastic. Checked on us several times and made sure our cups stayed full.
Just a couple things to mention, the seating area by the windows was very cold. Looks like a small heater for that area. The other thought, and I noticed this with several patrons, the tables sit fairly low leaving little leg room for us taller folks.
I gave it a 5 stars and will definitely ne making the trip from Columbus from time to time.

If you want a good home cooked down home meal this is the restaurant for you. We ordered all you can eat chicken livers, which I guess is their special on Wednesdays and they are melt in your mouth good.

It has a good mom and pop atmosphere, and the people are friendly. I had a tenderloin breakfast meal, and being from out of state, it was good. But they had this poor waitress running around so much she looked stressed and none of the other 6 people were helping. If I’m ever up here again, I will definitely come back and get some more food.

I cannot say enough positive things about The Little Red Kitchen. I love my breakfast burritos and they literally have the best! I have never been disappointed in their food or their service. The absolute best breakfast in North Vernon and surrounding area.
