This place is sooo popular, we were not able to get in for dinner but we miraculously got in for brunch, which was just as good.
We were here on a girls’ weekend trip and had the best time. Radmir was our server, and he was the best. Despite how busy it was, Radmir was very attentive to our group and checked up on us frequently.
The food is soooo good. I would suggest going with a larger group like us (six total) so you can try different things. Portions are pretty large but we managed to eat most and only boxed up a couple of things. I have to say EVERYTHING we had was good from the donut apps to our entrees, to our drinks. We passed on dessert bc we were soooo full but would definitely need to try that next time.
Overall a great experience. If you’re looking for good service, good food and ambiance, this is your place!

I’ve been to LOJ’s three times and I always love the food and the ambiance. The last few times I got the spicy vodka rigatoni, truffle pasta, zucchini fries, Caesar salad wrap and a few drinks. This last time I decided to get a pizza and was a bit disappointed. I got the Italian Job pizza and the broccoli rabe made the pizza too bitter, which made it impossible to enjoy. We were told that this is how it’s supposed to taste. I will be coming back but not ordering the pizza.

We stopped in for a late lunch and were very happy we did. We loved every part (save the ordering process which was friendly, but feels a little clumsy) of this place, especially the food.
Once ordered, the process was pretty simple. It was a nice day, so only having outside seating wasn’t a problem at all, but I can see where it can vary by the day. We had the Italian sub and the roasted vegetable panini and the spicy rigatoni. I tried each option and loved them all. I wish we had room to try the pizza, but we’ll do that next time.
This was an easy 5 stars and we will definitely be back soon!

My partner and I visited the place around 8 pm. I will say parking is definitely not good around there. That and there is only outside sitting. It was quite cold and we didn’t last too long.
Otherwise, the food is definitely 10/10. I had the vodka sauce, garlic knots, my partner Joe’s House ravioli, Rotisserie chicken, and bbq chicken wings.
Definitely will visit again. Although, we are going to wait when it is warmer. The lights on the trees and the ambiance are definitely worth it!

I am taking the rare (for me) step of reviewing a restaurant because I feel like that is my last resort to get through to management. LOJ‘s uses some kind of ordering system different from every other restaurant in San Francisco, it sends text messages that food is ready even if the food has not started to be cooked, so there’s no way to avoid a long wait at pickup. When asked about this, staff are consistently defensive and non-apologetic and say there’s nothing they can do about it. I live around the corner and would love to frequent them more, but need to limit it to occasions when my four-year-old isn’t hungry, ie I won’t go there again until they fix this problem. Too bad, the food is great!

I absolutely love all Joe’s locations and was so excited to see they had food to go. Unfortunately, when I brought a large family style lasagna home, it was so over salted we didn’t eat it. This would never happen at one of the restaurants! I hope the kitchen adjusts and doesn’t add so much salt!

Top tier Italian food! We normally go to Original Joes in Westlake, Daly City but this take out location is just as good.
We ordered the spicy vodka rigatoni alongside the beef and spinach ravioli with a side of garlic knots.
Everything is delicious and served fast

I can’t believe it’s taking me awhile to go in here! I loved the selection of specialty foods to buy, including having some tomato sauces that I love from the brand mutti! I ordered the salad, and my friend got the “rib-eye Philly”. The salad was beautiful and massive! I shared some of the salad with my friend that day and I still had almost two leftover servings for another day. I got to try my friend’s Philly and boy was it tasty.
The pizzas looked and smelled amazing I will definitely be coming back for one of those slices or maybe I’ll just order a whole one, it looks so good!

Small Italian grocery store with a pizza oven and kitchen, that makes a delicious Chicken Parmesan Sandwich with a quality chicken cutlet and served on some great bread.

Peabody Pickstickler, and his little stab Penny live in St. Francis Wood just a 10 minute walk from Little Original Joe’s Restaurant, so when I was seeing him about his upcoming introduction into the Bohemian Club he naturally took me to Little Original Joe’s for their famously amazing chicken parmesan. All I can say is WOW! I’ve never had better chicken parmesan in my life, it was truly spectacular! ☆☆☆☆☆
