After looking at the other reviews I was at first skeptical on whether it would be worth my time to stop in. I figured putting up with rudeness is worth it to make a birthday more special.
I walked in around the same time that a delivery was being made and I saw an older lady talking to the delivery driver in a tone that seemed as if she were letting him know who’s boss. She hadn’t even acknowledged me being there yet. When she was done she asked me what I needed so I asked her about the cakes in the case. They were ALL tres leches cakes. I’m not exactly sure when it happened, but she went from being business to being sweet. She reminded me of a friend’s grandma when they feed you too much and wants to try everything. After buying a cake she even carried it out to the car since I was holding my baby.
The cake was amazing. It was evenly moist all the way through and was just the right amiunt of sweet. The icing to cake ratio was spot on and the icing actually tasted good (I’m not a fan of icing).
I went into the shop prepared to be offended. I left with a delicious tres leches cake feeling really good about my experience there.

Had the pleasure of eating a piece of this delicious cake this past Saturday at a concert for local composer John Partridge. The cake was moist, frosting was creamy without being too sweet and the fresh fruit was delightful. The batter might even be made with corn flower as well. I was expecting a standard store cake. This was made with love.
I see the other reviews. Can’t speak to service or location.
But if you want a delicious cake for just about any occasion this is it.

I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday. When we went to pick it up I noticed that it had lint, and dust particles all on the top. I pointed it out to them and they handled it very rudely. Instead of apologizing, they kept arguing and acting like they couldn’t see it even though it was very obvious. They transport their cakes from Vallejo in their work van, place them on a rack but, opened. Never getting a cake from them again, I’m so upset.

delicious! It’s the only place We’ve come back to twice on our stay in Sonoma. My partner came out with a whole bag of pastries saying it was only $11 and explaining to me how you get to pick what you want put it on a tray and take it up to the counter. I wanted to try it myself, went in and came out with another full bag of pastries for 12 bucks! We had over a dozen pastries total, and they were all delicious! So delicious that we went back to get more treats for breakfast and to take on the plane ride home! And there was a huge variety to choose from, and even getting there late in the day things still tasted fresh. So much better than all of the other pastries we had on this trip! Don’t pass this place up!!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE HORRIBLE! I went two days before to buy bread and confirm a cake and the girl at the register and the lady who is in the back with the cakes were so mean and rude to me and my husband. Mind you it wasn’t our fault because they couldn’t find our order and kept saying there wasn’t an order placed and as soon as I showed them the receipt they were much rude and the day I picked up the lady who’s at the cakes gave me such a horrible attitude and she said the cake would be ready at 1pm and I went at 2 to pickup and still wasn’t ready!! It was in Vallejo they said like what!! Why do people have a business and treat their customers hecka rude. When you’re having a good day don’t go there because you will come out with your day ruined. I’m upset I’ve given these people money and they aren’t appreciated that we customers are the ones who keep their business going . Oh and fyi I asked for a mocha tres leches cake and it was super super dry. The cake was not it

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! I went in on 8/19 to order a tres leches cake for the next day 8/20. The lady that was helping me literally took notes of what I wanted. I choose a cake from the book they had and I explained to her that everything that was on the model cake I wanted it blue. No other color but BLUE!! To add the initials “EZ” to the cake. She even told me that she would let the baker know to add a bear on the cake so it can go with my baby shower theme! I told her I would pick up the cake on 8/20 at noon. I get there the following day at 12:30 and I am told that their baker was sick and they send my order to their Vallejo location and the cake wouldn’t get the until about 1:30. First mistake on their part to not informed me. I told them to call me once the cake got there because my party was from 1-5. They called me at 1:48 to get the cake, my uncle goes to get the cake and of course it’s not at ALL WHAT I ORDERED!!!! The cake had the original colors from the model cake, the initials looked like a “E2” and the cake was so dryer than the Sahara desert!! Unfortunately this hasn’t been the first time that this bakery has made a mistake like this with my order. My mom called the next day and the lady was so rude and told her that if the cake wasn’t right we should of took it back and that they weren’t gonna give us our money back. How was I gonna take the cake back if I was counting on this cake?? Why didn’t I get a call that my orders was being sent to Vallejo?? Do they not read the notes on the order?? Ex ALL BLUE!!! Honestly do not order from them! Horrible horrible service!!

Poor customer service however, the tortas and pastries are good. Everytime I have come here, they tell me they can’t make something because they have cleaned the oven or so 2hrs earlier than close time. Also they are not specific when you can order juicer drinks. I get different responses from people working there.

Little Maya is coming up with a larger space and soon to accommodate as a small cafe. I had a croissant, tamale de elote that just hit the spot and a warm champurrado that brought back memories… I know they are in the midst of a remodel but if you haven’t been in a while I suggest trying them again.

The tortas are great the pan too , today I stop by to buy some tortas and pan for my kids.The customer service was horrible , the girl with the big nails she was treating me with attitude like she was giving us the food for free , food can be good, but if customer service is not good . People will take their money where we get better customer service!! Sorry but just been honest.
