this was my second time stopping here , met a customer while waiting to order , and asked if it was good and he said , if you try it once , you’ll be back . he is correct. great experience all around. and the ribs are tender and delicious. and at a great price for all the food I got. guy was right . I will be back . and the staff was friendly and professional. great food and great folks . a real treasure to find these days . far cry from the big guys of fast food

The Burger Man with Best Burgers in America Association, and I was invited to score a burger for Little Lu’s BBQ. I found the burger to be Fresh, never frozen, with fresh toppings that blended well. If anything, the burger was burned on the edges and leaned to the dry side. It’s still an awesome burger, and I would eat it again and again. Highly recommended.

Very good pulled pork. I loved that they fried my okra after I ordered it – hot, tasty, and not greasy – terrific. The Mac and cheese was cheesy, not the best ever, but fine. The amount was filling without being stuffed. Price was good for what I received. The woman at the window was friendly and helpful.

Between Snead & Cullman, Alabama right at the Hwy 278 & Hwy 231 junction sits the most amazing little barbecue restaurant. Known for their icredible brisket & pulled pork sandwiches and full plates with scrumptious southern sides – if you don’t stop, then you are not kind to your stomach! Most folks order from the take out shack, but you can also sit and dine in next door. Be prepared for an average 30 minute wait for your order, but it’s worth it and the regular flow of customers at all hours confirms this. I was halfway home and kicking myself for not ordering a 2nd sandwich for later. Enjoy!

The ribs were not good they tasted like done in oven no smoky or grilled taste whatsoever the fried green maters were good but the Mac and cheese should have been labeled “macaroni” thats it ..absolutely NO cheese they tasted like they were boiled and that’s it ..banana pudding was decent but very small container for price it was a small plastic condiment container!Won’t go back

Amazing service ❣ Food made fresh to order. The BBQ chicken salad was so good we didn’t need dressing on it. Amazing smoked chicken. The fried okra on my son’s plate was so good…he had none left by the time I picked him up . Great women working there. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Will go again, as this was my first time there, today. Mmhmm

This is from food truck in Snead Al. Not restaurant on 278. Service was friendly but a little slow. All we ordered was 2 regular sized bbq sandwiches and it took several minutes longer than I thought just to put meat on 2 buns. It was not hot and the meat was stringy not chopped or sliced. Taste was ok.

Love this place! One of those Southern Gems that’s a great place to grab some BBQ. So far, I think we have tried everything and the only thing that I didn’t care for was the Cole Slaw. It’s a real BBQ place, so sometimes they run out of stuff if you get there close to closing time, but that’s just a sign of them being authentic.
