4.4/5 for the tuna sandwich in wheat bread. Lowkey for the value this is hard to beat. Taste wise it’s pretty good as well. Drove 40 mins just to try this place and it was definitely worth it. The sandwich lasted me 3 meals

Great counter service. Had a late lunch, so no wait at all. The roast beef sandwich was huge. It was more than enough for my wife and I. The sauces they use are tasty. I’ve also had a BBQ beef sandwich. The Dutch crunch is hands down the best

Such a generously sized sandwich. The hot flavorful rotisserie chicken combined with crispy lettuce, juicy tomatoes and their signature garlic sauce made for a very satisfying meal.

Charming little sandwich shop located in the Burlingame Shopping Plaza. They offer a wide variety of hot and cold gourmet sandwiches, with lots of condiments, sauces, and dressings to choose from. The sandwich portions are quite generous, and the staff is fast and efficient. There is usually a line, so the wait time can be 15-30 minutes. Call ahead to order is probably the best way. Large free parking lot.

I’ve never heard of this place until some of my co-workers were talking about it and I got to say probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. We got the Luca special combo with turkey, ham and bacon and that sauce. Oh my God that pesto and garlic is delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try some more

Only Giving 5 Stars due to the Portion. It’s 2 proper meals. Got the BLT+A on Dutch Crunch with a Bag of chips for over $22. Steep! Quality sandwich, it was served cold, the cheese clean extra $1.75.. it’s a nice sandwich and extremely filling. However not worth a line or worth going out of your way for. I
With the portion size it’s a decent value I suppose.

Really rude women making our sandwiches. We ordered two different sandwiches and she assumed we wanted the same toppings. When I told her I wanted mine differently she gave me an attitude and said they were really busy and make the sandwiches at the same time. I asked for a hot pastrami with mayo, mustard, lettuce, peppers and pickles. I noticed she shook a white bottle with a white water liquid and put that on my sandwich. I don’t know if that was the mayo, but it made my sandwich extremely soggy. She also did not add any pickle or peppers.

Really great sandwiches and for a great price! Two people can definitely share one. I really liked the hot pastrami, though I’d probably skip on the mayo the next time I order, their house garlic sauce is rich and tastes phenomenal. Pro tip is to order for pickup to avoid the long lines.

Update 8/15/25: I had a good experience with the doordash this time! We are back on track. BTW I recommend getting cream cheese only your sandwich. The best one for my is the Lucca’s Ultimate, but everything specialty sandwich I have tried so far has been excellent.
Edit 7/18/25: Little Lucca’s is still one of my favorite places, but I am changing my review to 1 star because of a very disappointing experience toda. In my sandwich from this location were two strips of plastic! Or possibly wax paper, but I think it is plastic. I have pictures of the sandwich and the plastic pieces attached. I will still go back as I’ve always loved Little Lucca’s but please maintain the quality you guys are famous for!

Little Lucca in Burlingame is truly a sandwich lover’s paradise. Having frequented this spot for over a decade, their foot-long pastrami sandwich continues to be my undeniable favorite. The consistency in flavor, quality, and generous fillings make it a treat every single time. While you can almost always expect a line, it’s a testament to their unparalleled offerings. The wait, without a doubt, is always worth it. The staff is friendly, the ambiance nostalgic, and every bite takes you on a delectable journey. If you’re in Burlingame and haven’t experienced Little Lucca, you’re truly missing out. Highly recommended!
