amazing!! this is my favorite go-to cafe spot. lattes were amazing and have natural flavors, and the spam rice bowl was flavorful and enjoyable. their bulgogi bibimbap was so good i had to order another one after — everything tasted fabulous and the croffles are amazing to share with. kimchi fried rice was great for someone with low spice tolerance. 10/10 atmospheres and service!

Yall don’t sleep on this café! I’ve enjoyed everything so far, whether I stop by for a light meal or just for coffee. The lattes are unique (options like banana and ube) and not too sweet, which is the ultimate Asian compliment :3
They also recently added the viral Dubai chewy cookie and oh my gosh, that thing is DIVINE. I tried getting the Dubai chewy cookie from the Mega Mart in PA, and it doesn’t even compare. Ugh I’m drooling as I’m writing this review, might need to make another trip to Little Late Bird on my way to work

super happy to have this cafe nearby! dropped by on a weekday morning to get a coffee – tried the banana latte with oat milk. the banana milk was quite sweet (as it always is) but the espresso’s bitterness was a good balance, and the $6 total felt v reasonable!! there were quite a few tables that looked good for working, so i’ll have to return to try other menu items and spend some more time in the cafe.

I went for breakfast with one friend. I had the spam egg rice, which was simple but very good! The food came out very quickly. The atmosphere was very down to earth; there were about 15 other people there but it was relatively quiet.

This is a wonderful local cafe. I love coming here to do work and the staff is always so cheerful and kind. The milk tea drinks are great and honestly the prices are very good for a milk tea drinks. There’s food options here, but I haven’t been able to try them yet.
The cafe is at a location with ample parking. There’s a scenic walk at a park by the water right by this cafe. It’s a great neighborhood gem!

I got the plain croffle and a brown sugar boba. The boba was on the sweeter side so just ask for it to be less sweetened if you don’t like too much sweetness. The croffle was my favorite, and it was made fresh. It was warm and so delicious. I recommend getting the croffle!

I came here because another local spot was too busy. Very glad I found it! I came on a Sunday morning around 11, and there were maybe 10 people here, very relaxed. Since it’s adjacent to an office building, I’d imagine it would be busier during the week. They have a chill atmosphere with about 30 seats inside and 10 outside.
I got an iced banana latte, half sweet, and it was delicious. I also got a good morning croissant (egg, cheddar, choice of bacon or ham). As others have mentioned the portions are a little small, but I’d say their prices accurately reflect that (less expensive overall compared to other cafes in the area). The croissant sandwich was more like a “regular” size and not, say, Costco size.
I’m looking forward to eventually coming back to try their Korean food (And Hawaiian? They have spam musubi and loco-moco).

Edit: I like this place a lot, especially their ube latte. It’s not too sweet and just right. But I have to edit my review for their scones and service. Sometimes they’re cold, even when toasted. It seems to vary by who is helping you. Also, most of the baristas are very nice but not everyone is friendly.

Wonderful location we stumbled upon on our journey to San Francisco. Drinks came out quickly and the food was delicious. Lovely Jazz music and plenty of seating. Would love to stop by again. Location is a bit weird, feels like driving up to a hospital, but parking was easy as well

Little Late Bird in San Mateo is such a gem! The atmosphere is amazing- calm, cozy, and perfect whether you’re studying solo or enjoying lunch with friends by the beautiful Seal Slough Lake. I went for the first time recently and tried their boba tea plus two onigiri (tuna avocado & bulgogi) — everything was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly affordable. They have great snack options if you just want something light, but also full meals if you’re meeting friends for a proper lunch. The staff is incredibly sweet and welcoming. The restroom is inside a larger building, but the front desk receptionist is happy to guide you. 10/10 little cafe — I’ll definitely be back!
