I haven’t been here in hella long. Surprisingly, the place hasn’t changed much. Same red walls with all the pictures. The lady who took my order was super nice.
We ordered:
1. Small thick crust sausage and pepperoni pizza – The dough was fluffy and tasted fresh. The outside was lightly crispy. The cheese had a nice pull. Everything about the pizza was amazing. I haven’t had this good of a pizza in a long time. The small pizza was a pretty good size for the price.
2. Chicken parm w/ spaghetti and vegetables – This was a thick piece of chicken with light breading. It was thick and juicy but not crispy, which is what I’m usually used to. It came with a nice thick piece of bread.
This was an amazing experience. I can’t wait to come back soon.

Little Joe’s Pizza remains one of my favorite pizza restaurants in San Francisco. The crew here are nice people. Whenever I have guests over, I’m proud to serve some Little Joe’s pastas and pizzas. They tell me it reminded them of high school. We used to sell slices at lunchtime for fund raising for various clubs like the Vietnamese club (I’m not Vietnamese and was still able to join.) That was awesome because it breaks up the monotonous school lunch meals. Today I got one of their classics, a medium mushroom & sausage pizza $27.50. Just like the ones we used to sell at our fund raisers. It was awesome.

Me and a friend met up at Little Joe’s for a pizza and a pitcher of beer, last Wednesday, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The place has that classic neighborhood feel.. super busy with staff working hard behind the counter making pies, but they still took the time to check in on us and make sure we were good throughout the meal!
This is the kind of spot where you can grab a quick slice at lunch or sit down for dinner with friends and family. Little Joe’s nails that nostalgic vibe while serving up quality pizza in the Excelsior. Definitely worth a visit!
The pizza was great, the beer was cold, and the price was more than fair for the amount of food we got.

11 months later I’m back in town and this place still rocks. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I got shrimp alfredo delivered which tasted horrible… it tastes like old dish water. Absolutely no flavor. Very upset i spent 30 dollars on this garbage. Will not order pasta from here again.

pizza has always been my favorite. This establishment didn’t disappoint. Pizza was hot, fresh, and on point. Toppings were evenly distributed and not skimped. The staff was veryfriendly and when the pizza was brought out to the table were cheerful and kind. We went party of 8 and everyone was happy with their service. Food was 5 star and super hot. Definitely recommend.

I tried their chicken with mushrooms and an IPA for dinner. The chicken was cooked well and the sauce was tasty, but the chicken was colder inside than outside, especially the breast. This is clearly a sign of a reheated chicken.
The mushrooms, the side of veggies and a small portion of pasta were expertly cooked just right. The pasta made me think about returning just to enjoy a plate of pasta.
The beer was served perfectly cold and the service was warm, friendly and efficient. The ambiance is welcoming and relaxed.
As most of the San Francisco’s restaurants, little Joe’s has gotten quite expensive. My one dish, beer and gratuity approached $40! The sign of the times we live in.

Pizza crust here is spot on, they have great lunch deals for $4 for a slice of the daily special. The salad is huge, I only ate half with my two slices of pizza and was super full. Food comes out quickly, service is nice. Also had a market for wine and other necessities! Definitely worth it to come check it out!

Great little authentic pizza joint on Mission. Landed at SFO headed into the city and thanks to reviews have it a shot for late lunch/early dinner. In late March was able to walk in and sit down without showing any cards or covering anything. We had a lovely waitress that made sure drinks full & all services were met. We ordered pepperoni & sausage pizza with their wings. I’ll talk about the wings being dry but a nice little kick that sneaks up on you after a few bites, but not too overpowering.
