Ordered the burrito and it was the worst burrito I’ve ever had. All rice and barely any cheese or meat. On top of that, it was just… bland. I had to add seasoning and sour cream to make it taste even remotely good. How do you mess up a burrito???

Very, very good food. Even the kids cleaned the plate. Lovely server. The only thing is that I wasn’t crazy about the salsa. It was more like taco sauce. But everything else was so good, I didn’t take a star away.

I ordered shrimp fajitas and they were very good. Also ordered queso and chips. Queso was not great and the chips were overcooked. I’ve gotten this same order many times before. Not sure what happened with the chips and queso. Refried beans were just OK this time too. ‍♀️

Overall, the food here is good, but more than that, it’s one of the more authentic Mexican places I’ve been to in my area. My “go to” dish so far are the tamales. It also comes with black beans (very small portion) a small “salad” and Spanish rice. The rice always tastes old and reheated and doesn’t have much flavor, unfortunaly. I would never get their nachos again. They are over-priced and honestly just taste like Taco Bell nachos. The chimichanga was also unimpressive, unless you like a ton of cheese. I could barely taste any of the other ingredients, which were way too sparse for the price. The best dish they have (that I’ve tried so far) are their tacos. They are absolutely outstanding! They are large and the tortilla is full! But, best of all, they are delicious! (I get the pastor meat.) These definitely get my highest recommendation with the tamales coming in a close second. (I get them with red sauce, but you can also get green or mole.) I’ll be trying more dishes in the future as I’m curious about their chilli relleno and fajita burrito.

I recently visited and ordered a veggie burrito. I noticed while looking through the door window (towards where they prepare your food) the guy making my meal dug his entire hand (NO GLOVES) in the jalapeño dish to add to my burrito. This was absolutely disgusting to me.

Little Jalapeño was a great find. Because it had high ratings in Google, we went there and found it was outstanding. As family owned, there’s been a lot of hard work done here. Small enough dining area so as not to feel crowded, pleasant ambient music, very clean, a polite waitress, and easy/ ample parking. The meal was excellent down to the most authentic flan I’ve had in years. Prices were good. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this small restaurant and made a point to compliment the waitress. As we were leaving, another gentleman had come in for his takeout order and said to her, “This place makes the best burritos I’ve ever had”. Quite a compliment from another Hispanic patron. So we’ll try burritos next time!

I ordered a shrimp burrito to try them out and I must say it is yummy they are not cheap with the shrimp which is a great quality they don’t try to fill it with everything else but. Overall I am definitely adding this place to my local good food list. The lady at the counter was pretty nice I ordered over the phone and when I got there my food was ready I didn’t have to wait extra time and everything was exactly as it should be

The food was fresh and hot. It was the primary election that day, and I working the polls that day and knew 1) I could have lunch and it was (essentially) right across the street from the polling station and I had never been here before. 2) I was not disappointed.
I chose the Zircronizada as an appetizer. It was a ham stuffed quesadilla.
For the entree, I ordered, Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo. That was cooked shrimp in a sauce with asst. vegetables.
All very tasty
Photo 1 with the shrimp is the Camarones
Photo 2 is the Zircronizada
The other photo was served before the appraiser. Chips with refried beans… And dipping sauce…

Really good food for a small strip mall restaurant. We got the vegetarian burrito, horchata, and the al pastor tacos- which came with chips and red salsa. The price was great, which is why we came in the first place: we’re tired of these pretentious Mexican restaurants that are clearly owned by white people looking to appropriate the culture. We used to live in South Philly and go to Los Gallos and Freda Cantina regularly, and you won’t find that kind of quality (or price) at Central Taco or Tortilla Press.
This place is nothing like Central Taco: the tacos are $3.xx each, so you can mix and match; it’s BYOB so they’re not looking to make money off drinks other than traditional drinks like horchata.
I wish there were more options for salsa (ie green), and I wish the salsa was hotter as the red that came with the chips wasn’t spicy at all. The complimentary chips were fresh and crunchy though- I would try the guacamole next time.

Got the chicken tacos with side of rice, and chicken burrito with jalapeños poppers. All were solid but take it easy on the poppers as they leave u feeling greasy afterwards
