I am obsessed with pizza and have driven hundreds of miles to try as many places in Chicago and suburbs as I could. I always end up craving an extra thin sausage pizza from Little Italian on Bailey Rd. And it’s a good 45 minute ride from my house. Oh, I definitely should add – there are places that are really good – sometimes – but Little Italian is very consistent, tastes the same every time.

First time I ever ordered here, they were quick to take my information and order, unfortunately upon pickup, they only had the appetizer and even read my order back to me. I offered to wait for my pizza while I had already been charged for my appetizer. I was told they would give a discount on the pizza for the inconvenience, but once it was ready a different young girl was at the register ringing me up full price. I explained to her what I was told and she looked me as if she just woke up and said they dont do that and put her hand out. She also refused to get the person that told me they acknowledged the mess up. Didn’t wanna argue, I was hungry, it had been a long day, but once back at the house, the pizza itself was incorrect.
Tried them again a second time a month or so later, benefit of the doubt, ya know, went to pick up the order at the scheduled time they said to, all to find out they never even started it. I just canceled.
Im sure this place was better when we were kids, but the new Gen staff doesnt seem to be trained, have common sense, or a basic understanding of how business ethics works in the real world. I hope they stay afloat the next few years and fix their issues, cuz this used to be a staple in town.

My mother as always got Little Italian on Bailey Rd. Always very good. They have this particular signature sauce recipe that is totally different from most popular pizza joints. And their dining room is very quaint to eat. There’s a little bar, and all the servers and staff are very nice and professional.

I’ve been a customer for decades, and they’re still serving the same great pizza. Carryout orders are usually ready in about 30 minutes, and the team works nonstop to provide outstanding service. Easily one of my top recommendations.

They have an amazing thin crust pizza! When we lived in Naperville, this was our go to place for thin crust pizza. We moved away about 8 years ago and went there because we were in the area. The pizza was fantastic! They remodeled the place so it looks very clean and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and we had an enjoyable dining experience. Definitely recommend it!

Little Italian has been in business since I was a teenager well over 50 years. It’s nice they offer gluten sensitive options text discounts the customer accumulates points every month they have a little monthly lottery pick a number between 1-100 if you pick 1 of 4 numbers? You win a free small pizza. I picked up my free small pizza last night. There’s a great variety of food that tastes great. We had 1 mix up with our food not made gluten free otherwise we have no complaints our experiences have been positive. The restaurant is in the same strip mall as our Chiropractor. We’d probably order more if the restaurant was on food delivery services like DoorDash & Uber Eats.

Overall the food was good. They have Gluten Free 12″ Pizzas ($16-17) which are good but pricey. If you like a thicker crust get the house crust. The service was quite bad overall with a couple bright spots. When we arrived we were the only ones in the dining area. By the time we left it was full. It’s a smaller dining area than most restaurants but the waitress was pretty much non-existent. Drinks ran dry and she messed up an appetizer order.
I chalk it up to being young and inexperienced..A lady from the back area, maybe the bar area came around to help and was fantastic.
The parking lot is terrible and gets crazy full Friday nights so park in the second row or further if you don’t want to feel like you’re leaving a concert after dinner.
Overall 7/10.

Amazing service with a very flexible and kind waiter. I believe his name was Gavin. Super helpful and patient with our large party.
On the other hand, the pizza was pretty average. We got a half sausage and half cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. They weren’t bad, but nothing was very flavorful. The salad wasn’t too great either. Not a lot of toppings and definitely not enough dressing.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend coming here. I believe there are better pizzas in the area.

I had a really bad experience at Little Italian Pizza. I ordered a large pizza, but the crust was way too thick and not what I expected. I didn’t even eat it. I tried to send it back and asked if they could remake it, but the manager told me I had no choice but to pay for it as is. That didn’t sit right with me, so I refused to pay and paid for the rest of my food instead, then left. The way the situation was handled was very unprofessional and disappointing. I won’t be returning.

We’ve been coming to Little Italian for years and years. It’s our favorite place for pizza. We love the thin crust, but they also have deep dish for those who love that. Ordering online is always easy and our pizza is always ready when they say it will be. We often get the antipasto salad too and it’s delicious!
