It was my first time at Little G’s Diner. The staff was great, and the food was very good. It tasted like home cooked food which I love. The only critique I have is the lack of background music, which makes the general ambiance very quiet, but this is just my personal opinion. Overall, I had a great time and will come back!

Had a chance to try out Little G’s Diner in Hampstead (right next to the Soap Opera Laundromat), and it was amazing! The service was friendly and quick, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the sausage gravy and biscuits, plus French toast with home fries. The portions were huge—especially the biscuits and gravy—and everything was cooked perfectly. The diner itself is adorable and cozy, which just adds to the whole experience. Highly recommend giving them a try

UPDATE: The owner and his friends is now lying and harassing me online due to my review. PATRONS BE AWARE!!!!!!!
Yesterday, September, 19th my friend Lynn, her 81 year old father-in-law, my 85 year old dad and myself went to out for a lunch/breakfast. We got there shortly after 11. Mr. Joe doesn’t care for breakfast so he 2anted a cheeseburger burger. The waitress explained that lunch wasn’t until 11:30, so he tried to order yogurt and fruit…they’re out of yogurt. He then ordered eggs and bacon. Bottom line for Mr Joe is the other patrons were already having lunch, yet they said he could not. Why you ask? Because they were all currently in the kitchen deciding what time lunch is really supposed to be. My dad ordered cream chip beef with gravy. After three bites, he just couldn’t eat anymore, it was horrible and had hardly any beef. Lynn ordered hotcakes and a side of Sausage that she never received. I ordered the crab omelet and what a disaster that was. When you cut it, so much mozzarella cheese comes out I sliced my omelet opened to only find some flakes of crab instead of the jumbo crab that was supposed to be inside. Indo believe they put all the cheese to cover up the fact they hardly use crab
During our visit, two women were talking to us from another table. They too were upset about their food.
Anyway, the worse part of our experience was when the owner came of and asked boldly what was our problem. We explained about the food, the 3 out 4 knives that was covered in grease, etc. He said, “your food is paid for, now leave” WHY? WHY is he telling us to leave???? As we got up to leave, I went over to the women I was talking to earlier and was going to say goodbye. This man, the owner, Christopher Coil, (also the owner of Bebo’s Mac Shack) puffed his chest out, put his hands side to side and circled me, blocking me from talking to the 2 sweet ladies. He yelled, ” You’re not allowed to talk to my customers!” I disagreed and said, “I do believe I live in a free country and I can talk to whoever I please” I continued to say goodbye, as we were heading out the door. Suddenly, I heard the owner say, “TRASH” That’s when I paused, turned around and said “did you just call me trash?!?!???” He picked up his phone and was going to call the police. He never did, cause we waited a short time outside. I can not believe that we were treated so badly because Little G’s was not up to par. We were just trying to bring our two veterans together to meet for the first time and break bread together.
The picture below only has a few pieces of beef. The owner said there was a pound of beef. My question…
“WHERE’S THE BEEF??!?”

Everything was good, orders the Medium G with coffee cooked perfectly just the way I like it. The dining area could use some very soft background music. Nice cozy diner perfect place to grab some breakfast.

The food was decent enough, but nothing to rave about. The toast was cold, and the butter right out of the fridge (kinda hard). My omlet was pretty good, my wife’s scrambled eggs and bacon were miserly. I don’t eat as much as I used to, but still like to eat some.
Little Gs will do in a pinch, I reckon…..

Probably my new favorite local breakfast place. I placed an online order through Clover and showed up late to pick it up – but the food was still hot and all of it tasted great. The chicken Mac and cheese was a little bland (but I understand they can’t season it too much because that may not be appealing to some customers), but with a little bit of seasoning it was amazing. Like really good. Cinnamon buns were too, perfect amount of frosting on both. Everything was great. And the prices were so good that I was able to try a few different things (French toast was spot on too). Sorry no pictures, we ate everything so quickly

We are so excited to have a family diner back in Hampstead! The decor is farmhouse and so cute. The staff was quick and friendly to greet us, seat us, and serve. My husband had the Lumberjack breakfast, I had the Chipped beef gravy, and our toddler had true Little G pancakes. Everything was served hot and we could tell was all homemade. Delicious! We are looking forward to going back to try the lunch menu. Check it out!!!!

Went for breakfast yesterday with my 81yr. Oldfarher-in-law and and my girlfriend and her 85yr. Old dad for 2 veterans to meet and talk and to start off the silverware was greasy dirty, then to the order my fil doesn’t like breakfast so tried to order him lunch at 11:10am and was told lunch don’t start until 11:30. Then was gonna order him fruit and yogurt and was told they don’t have yogurt, so I ordered him the kids meal breakfast of 1 egg bacon and potatoes, the bacon was too crisp he couldn’t eat it. My girlfriend ordered the crabmeat omelet and it was nothing but cheese wasn’t worth 15.00 they charge, then her dad got chip beef gravy that had very very little beef. We then asked to speak with manager who wasn’t there so then a short time later a bald headed man approached our table and asked what was the problem and he got instant attitude when we told him what the problems were and told us to leave or he was calling police. My girlfriend got up to tell the ladies at the table beside us to have a great day and the bald headed man he we found later was the owner stepped in front of her so she couldn’t get to the ladies table and told her she couldn’t talk to any of the other customers which we were already talking too and put his hand out like he was gonna push her and again told us to leave or her was calling police. Then as we were leaving called us trash. I hope he don’t treat his wife the way my girlfriend and I were treated. If you can’t except criticism for your food you shouldn’t own a business. Won’t ever be back and his business won’t last long!!
