Oh my goodness… where do I begin? Beautiful restaurant front, quiet atmosphere. It was amazing. Delicious food! Crisp and refreshing cidars and absolutely loved Greta! Co-founder and an absolute gem. Board games, good music, local eats, superb service, and you can taste the awards in the drinks! 15/10 WILL BE BACK!

Wise Bird is so cute inside! The staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered food from Little Fork right at the counter and they brought it to our table. While we waited we played jenga (they have lots of board games available onsite). The Smash Burger was tasty, the fries were absolutely excellent (truly great fries!), and the hot dogs were packed with flavor on a nice toasted bun. I can’t say enough great things about this quick lunch stop – highly recommend checking it out!

I got the hot pepper chicken basket. The chicken was amazing! Perfectly crispy and still juicy. The hot pepper jelly sauce is delicious and just a tiny bit of heat. Everything is gluten free which is huge sine I have a gluten allergy. The food is made when ordered so everything is hot & fresh. The portion size – wow- bring a container for your leftovers! So glad we found this food truck!!

I got the gf chicken tenders with hot honey. Considering I haven’t eaten fried chicken in a very long time, they were good! Two tenders did taste quite strongly of… burnt? But I don’t think they were actually burnt, I think it was probably due to burnt material in the frier. I didn’t mind the taste; just an excuse to dip in more housemade ranch which was DELICOUS!

New guest today and all I can say is Do NOT deprive yourself from checking this place out! All GF options and soooo very YUMMY! Wise Bird was a stop on the Bites of the Bluegrass Distillery District Tour with Kaylee in Lexington and we got to enjoy a sampling from Little Fork Food Truck and it was so yummy! The dill ranch sauce served alongside the fries and hotdog with coleslaw was delish! Wished they sold it by the bottle so we could bring some back home!

First time at this food truck! By far the brisket tacos were fantastic! The meat was nice and tender and the slaw and dressing that went on it put it over the top. I will definitely be back to get these again! You can’t beat $10 for three over stuffed tacos!! Thank you for the amazing food!
Continuation: Burger Week! I have done multiple burgers, some fantastic, some shouldn’t even have been served. But, after trying the Brie-zy burger, I must say, it was the best one I have had! The burger was cooked perfectly to a medium, and the brie and apple worked phenomenally together! This place is a must! I have been telling everyone to find something from them and try it! In my opinion, Burger Week 2025 winner is Little Fork! I cannot wait to try more items on your menu! Please, please keep throwing that great food out there! I will see you guys again soon! Thank you for the phenomenally amazing food!!!!

I had the pleasure of trying their Burger Week special today and was absolutely blown away! It may sound strange, but I’m now a firm believer that apple chutney *belongs* on burgers. The combination of beef, melty brie, apples, & dijonnaise created the perfect balance of sweet & savory. The sprinkle of parsley on the fries provided an excellent pop of colour & was a lovely lil touch. Their ranch is pure excellence & clearly made in house. I highly recommend grabbing a side of it to dip those aforementioned fries in!

This food truck is so impressive for the caliber of food served! I’ve eaten here at least 6-8 times this summer and each time has been consistently delicious, fresh, flavorful food with fantastic service. I especially enjoy the chicken sandwich and fries, the seafood roll, and the patty melt. But I’d try just about anything on the menu. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the distillery district and you can eat your food inside Wise Bird cider, which is a great atmosphere with a cool selection of drinks.
