In case you’d like to take it back to the dark dive bar days this is the spot for you. Cheap drinks, pool table, music from a jukebox (the new kind) and all the memorabilia from the old days of the Navy and Coronado reminds you of a different time.

Beer smelled like pee. I had the blonde and it took me back to when I was toilet training my kids and they would have accidents.
I love a good dive bar – I can appreciate the vibe and history but if we ever go back, it’s bottled beer for me. I was told they never clean the lines or taps, which makes the beer nasty. It was nasty.
Seemed that the bartender wasn’t thrilled to have us or anyone else at the bar.
I don’t expect bright and cheery, but polite…yes.
We were told that if you’re not local, don’t expect to be welcomed. I don’t know if this holds true, but as a first-timer here, I felt it.
We paid our tab and I tipped over 20%. Won’t be back….

Open on holiday eves and another one is the few dives on the island. Local vibe as it is a bit further from the main drag. String karaoke night.

First time visit for me. Was on Coronado with some locals that come here often. Kinda a dive bar. Low lighting. Pool tables. Good selection of beer. Full bar. Friendly service and pretty good prices. TVs throughout bar to watch sports. Cold air condition on a hot day. Patio out front. Don’t know of they used it for tables or not. It was empty.

Textbook definition of a dive bar. Great times, great drinks. Worth coming for a late night of drinks pouring all night. Reasonable prices, awesome bartenders and crowd.

I Definitely Have Been Here Before. Yeah Not My First Choice To Watch A Sporting Event. I Actually Only Came Here Because The Restaurant I Was @ Closed Around 8:30 pm. Oh Yeah Wasn’t Ready To Go Home Yet. I Guess If You’re In The Navy This Place Is Alright. I’m Definitely Not Crazy About The Service Here. I Guess If You’re On The Peninsula & Every Other Place If Closed You Can Come Here?

I’m seeing some reviews calling out the Irish Bartender here and my experience was quite the opposite. He was such a fun person to talk to, gave us great reccs, told us some fun stories. We were visiting from Chicago and the Little Club as a whole reminded me of dive bars back home. Struck up some great conversation, some great tunes, and again the gentleman bartender was what kept us staying there for x amount of hours. If you don’t understand what a dive bar is maybe your expectations are skewed this place was a blast to my friends and I. Why would you want to wait an hour to be seated to have a drink when you can go here, have a few beverages, get some reccs for SD and share some stories in the process to make you feel at home! I hope the next time I visit SD the Irishman is there, cheers!

Sometimes you just want to go where everybody knows your name. And they’re always glad you came.

Regrettably, the Little Club bar is not that place.

Upon walking in we were immediately greeted by the bartender with what I can only describe as the “stink eye”. Several members of our party quickly got the vibe that we had entered a private space for locals where we weren’t wanted.

Never ones to stay where we aren’t wanted, we took our filthy tourist money and went somewhere else.

My recommendation: if you’re a tourist, find another spot.

Team Barbie and I rolled in Coronado’s sole dive bar around 9:30am on Thursday, July 4th. A little preparty before marching in the famous Coronado 4th of July Parade. Interior is from the 1980s or 70s…but still clean, dark, faded red carpet, vintage wood panel walls, beer decor, a single pool table in the back, an older, friendly and gentlemanly bartender, and a clientele that was 90% men at this early hour.

Three craft lager beers and a generous mimosa was $29, which I thought was very reasonable in an expensive, ritzy, and yuppy filled city like Coronado.
