Yesterday, I called to redeem that offer. The employee confirmed they would remake the whole order and told me it would be ready in 10–15 minutes. I drove to the store with my daughter, only to be told they would not remake it. They could have called before me driving all the way there.
The manager, Casey, was dismissive and accused me of never calling on February 8th. I showed her my order confirmation and call log proving I called the store at 6:24 p.m. and was on the phone for nearly four minutes. She still demanded she would not honor what I was told and stated they would not replace the order.
This isn’t about the $36. It’s about integrity and customer service. If you promise to correct an issue, honor your word. Being treated as if I were lying — after providing proof — was unacceptable.
I recommend taking your business elsewhere. This place is a representation of its management; classless, lacking integrity, and deceitful.
Dominoes has pizzas pickup, same size for $6 99 which is way less and amazing customer service. Make a wise choice friends blue ❤️
This is the second time I have visited this location and been treated as though I was attempting to take something I did not pay for.
Today’s experience was disappointing from start to finish. The food quality was poor, the Crazy Puffs looked overcooked and unappetizing (smaller than usual). My phone service wasn’t working, so I couldn’t access the code needed to pick up my order from the box. Before the employee even scanned the order…meaning my name was not yet visible on the screen. I asked, “Is that for Richard?” As she scanned it, I confirmed that it was my order.
Now. Even if I had the code, since the order wasn’t yet placed in the box, it makes no sense to proceed with boxing it and creating unnecessary hassle for a customer over three small items. That alone reflects poorly on the level of service provided.
When I explained that I didn’t have access to the code, the employee immediately demanded to see my ID. When I asked, “How would I know it was for me if it wasn’t my order?” she claimed, “It was on the screen.” I responded, “No ma’am, it wasn’t on the screen when I asked.” Her reply, “That’s our policy,” was dismissive and rude.
This isn’t the first issue I’ve had here. On a previous visit, after picking up two sodas, another employee ran out the door, blocked me from leaving, and demanded to see my receipt, also claiming “policy.” Yet, moments later, a different customer walked out with multiple two-liters without question.
When I told today’s employee that I’d had enough and would take my business elsewhere, she replied, “Good, have a good day.”
While I may not be a frequent customer at this specific location, I am a weekly customer at the Thonotosassa store, a location I switched to after never receiving a reply from corporate regarding my first complaint here.
I’m leaving this feedback so others can make an informed decision about visiting this location. Hopefully, this helps prompt improvement in how customers are treated moving forward.
