I was working in derby last Wednesday and decided I needed to goto busters because I hadn’t been in ages and it did not disappoint,I couldn’t belive they had a steak Philly for 6 bucks,it was amazing.

I decided to give this place a try when I was in town because they were advertising half-price appetizers today. I paid for my order, used the restroom and sat down for a moment. She brought my order right out, I said thank-u. As I was leaving. . A gentleman, or should I say male voice (because he wasn’t very gentlemanly), said to me “thanks for the 8 cents”. I was already out the door and didn’t respond due to that and thinking there’s no sense in arguing or debating with someone like that. I placed a to-go order, therefore did not receive any wait service. I decided to round up my change to the nearest whole dollar out of kindness. Every penny adds up! I surely did not have to leave any tip since I did not dine-in or receive wait service. I thought the comment was childish and unprofessional. It’s also not my fault this establishment does not pay their servers a fair wage or enough so they have to rely on tips soley for income. So on slow days, times or slow seasons, you barely make enough.. $2.35 or $2.55 is not enough to survive on these days or back in 2012 when I waitressed. This needs to change in resteraunt/bar establishments in America. And not hold the customers responsible for paying your employees wages. If I could give zero stars I would. Also noting my dip was lukewarm, with only 4 little cucumber slices, therefore were hamburger buns cut into triangles-not foccacia. Gross. I will never come back.
In response to the owner’s response, I think I will let what they said for themselves, speak for itself. When I said disrespectful, their response was just that. I’ll let the people decide for themselves based on other similar reviews and unfortunate customer experiences.

Maddie gave us exceptional service, she looked out for us and guided us on what to get and was super helpful! Let us know exactly what beers were on sale for happy hour and what items were the best for the food menu! Maddie was super sweet and brutally honest! Would come back just for her service alone! Apart from the service the atmosphere of the bar was fantastic, football season here is electric!

This IS the best burger in Derby! Cooked to perfection. We got our order to go so we didn’t have a chance to interact with the staff much. However the two I did talk to were nice and friendly. I did interact with the owner over a Grubhub issue previously and he genuinely cares and wants to make sure everyone has a great experience. I appreciate that level of dedication.

Went into busters, waited 9 minutes, not one server going to the tables or checking on customers, nor did new customers walking in get recognition…. Another customer lost because staff is irresponsible and lazy…. I watched 2 severs at the bar play on their phones an not checking their tables. The tables beside us had to wave their drink glasses to get a refill all because the servers are too lazy to check on customers…. Do better
