I absolutely love this place. The sandwiches are of a quality that I have not had anywhere else; flavor combinations, ingredients, the BEST bread. The same level of quality extends to the salads, as well as the phenomenal take-home items in their deli case, and super unique and delicious gelato flavors. I went early on when they opened and have been back a few times to try different menu items and the quality is top notch with every single thing. They have a kids menu also, which my picky eaters love. Great ambiance as well – tall ceilings with natural light and plants on a high ledge shelf, music playing, complimentary house-made dog treats… oh, and don’t forget to order a black & white cookie!

Great little deli in Minneapolis. We tried the Charlie, Eddie and Sonny. The sandwiches were all fresh and delicious with great bread, all priced from $16 to $18. There isn’t much seating inside so recommend taking them to go.

Cute deli with delicious sandwiches and kind people. I got the George and it was phenomenal! The bread is perfect and the sandwich was big enough to save 1/2 for later. Will definitely be back to try the Finn, Miles, and Wesley.

The Johnny (meatball sub) was fantastic. Great meatballs and marinara! The Miles was fantastic, too. Such good pesto! Will be back for more soon. 🙂

Update from 2nd trip: tried the Finn and Wesley – both amazing.

I knew I had to stop in when I saw this place has Dutch crunch bread. The Brooke sandwich I had was a really solid vegetarian option. The squash was warm and caramelized and the kale was thinly sliced and marinated. I got chips to put on it but they really were not necessary. This was a cut above. Just look at the cross section!

This place is what Minneapolis has needed! Great deli sandwiches. I had the Charlie and it was delicious – I’m a sucker for a sandwich with basil on it. Will definitely be back.
They also have a shelf of local food items. So tasty!

Just got the Eddie Sandwich and it really blew away my expectations. The sandwich itself is huge!! Toppings are very fresh and the sauce is amazing! Definitely worth the price point. Service is very quick & friendly as well.

Terrific little spot for a sandwich!

I discovered Little Bird Delicatessen on social media and have been wanting to try it for a few months. Finally made it in and I’ll definitely be back sooner than later. It’s a little space with lots of charm.

My friend and I split the Eddie and the Italian Dunkers. It was the perfect amount for lunch. Both were very tasty. The bread is delicious and the ingredients were fresh. The Italian Dunkers are an upgrade from our school lunch memories. So good that I might go back just for that!

Looking forward to exploring more sandwiches from this gem!

My kids and I had a lovely afternoon here. They enjoyed their Maymies & I savored my vegetarian sandwich (Finn). It was all the good things in the right portions, fresh and clean.

My kids (surprisingly) quietly enjoyed the view of the passing city buses from the large glass windows & sipped water from the compostable cup, poured from a steel container.

There was no tipping option, thought that was interesting and a welcome change from having to think about the right amount.

The owner (person at the counter) was welcoming, we even got some complimentary dog treats.

Great new addition to the neighborhood. I got the George and it was one of the better steak sandwiches I’ve had. Tender roast beef and tri-tip with some good veg to lighten it up. The Suppli al telephone were delicious as well. Melty gooey cheese inside of a delicious fried rice ball. Like the best arancini you’ve ever had. Got some onion dip to take home and that was delightful, sweet caramelized onions in a classic “French onion dip” super good.
