This was our first time dining at Little Beast, and our meal and service were excellent.
We sat in the covered patio area and started with the beet salad with burrata on a bed of arugula that we shared. For a person who has disliked beets their entire life, I have been slowly working to try them more often. Surprisingly, I liked the salad a lot and would order it again.
For my main meal, I had the Porterhouse pork chop, which is the first time I ever had this cut, and it was quite good. It was tender and juicy. It was also a little undercooked close to the bone, but I suppose that is not unusual considering you wouldn’t want it to be dry and tough from overcooking. They were very kind to substitute any gluten items I couldn’t eat for another non-gluten item. Because of this, I was able to try the kimchi rice cake, and that thing is a craveable morsel. My husband had the grilled flat iron steak. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It came with chausser sauce, which is a rich dark sauce made with wine and mushrooms. It’s so good I could drink it, lol.

The Brussel sprouts were absolutely fantastic. The chicken was a must have. Mari and Hannah were both excellent with service from beginning to end. Absolutely will be coming back. Amazing setting and chocolate pudding as well

Truly phenomenal. The chicken entree and winter salad were unreal. We couldn’t stop gushing over it. We had the pleasure of live music on the back patio and the ambiance was perfect. Wait staff was incredibly kind, efficient, and present. Its one of those spots you’ll want to keep coming back to

It’s rare when every plate you order is great but from the appetizer to salad to entree to cocktail to dessert –everything was delicious. The biscuits and ham were fantastic. The wedge salad had great flavor contrasts. I had the stroganoff which was fantastic, highly recommend it. My lady had the flat iron steak which was generous and had an excellent char. I had the rum drink where the surfer’s go, and it was hard not to order another one!
If you’re in Eagle Rock I definitely recommend dinner and drinks at Little Beast.

Amazing food. Great ambiance. Super friendly staff. Run don’t walk, and would hurry back. Drinks are elevated but easy to drink (watch out!) and the seasonal fare simply is divine. If you’re going before summer ends, the summer corn risotto was by far the standout and did make me tear up a bit.
All of the patrons were kind and in a great mood. We weren’t afraid to ask what other tables got and we got a few questions ourselves. Overall definitely a place to put on your Must-Go list.

returned to little beast to celebrate a special occasion, but the experience has plummeted. Despite an empty dining room and a cold December evening, we were sidelined at an outdoor table that wasn’t in the direction of the heater. The service was fundamentally broken: appetizers arrived simultaneously with entrees, dirty salad plates were never cleared, and we were never offered steak knives for our mains. Most disappointing was the total lack of acknowledgement for our special occasion, which had been noted twice. At this price point, you are paying for an experience they simply no longer deliver.

Definitely a destination dinner place, ie. Special occasions, family treat, etc. From start (we did not have reservations – recommended, just in case)! Wait staff SO professional, food worth the cost, general experience SO GOOD! Inside dining area, a very cozy mission/ bungalow vibe with low lighting and candles….atmosphere galore.

Service was perfect, friendly, fun and not too intrusive. Orders came fast and the flatiron steak was cooked perfectly (med rare-rare), the sauce, potatoes, string beans super delicious, also, gonna try to make brussel sprouts like theirs, crispy outsides with a hint of citrus

A mouth watering experience from start to finish. Shoutout to the bartender that saw my vision for a creamy espresso martini. The servers/hosts/hostess who were authentically attentive. And the chef/s, oh the CHEF/S! May life continue to bless those hands & the heart he/she/they put into every bite! Thank you! Will most definitely return!

Stopped in tonight (Friday) for dinner for my first time and had a very pleasant experience. I’m not in Eagle Rock often so it’s always nice to mix up areas where you eat, it’s probably my favorite part of dining in LA; all the amazing options in every direction. The look of it is a smaller bungalow style home with lights strewn all around which really makes a dreamy, and romantic vibe. Daniella was a great server and was prompt and polite.
I started off with the wedge salad which had a really nice chipotle dressing to it on the bottom, which is definitely new for me for a wedge but it worked and was delicious. For my entree I had to go with the special which was the California Halibut. It was cooked very well and the portion size was perfect. Honestly I loved the dish but wish the side with it was different, leeks aren’t my favorite but I still ate most of them. Topped off the meal with the brioche bread pudding and it was moist and hit the spot. I chose to not get the ice cream with it and honestly the creme fraiche on top was the perfect combo. Price was fair as well. The parking lot is enough for about 2 cars, 1 of which being handicapped, but I was able to find parking close across the street.
I would recommend to anyone and it would especially be a good call for a date or a gathering with friends.
