Let me start off by saying I do love little Anitas…. However, I’ve never had such a bad experience until I’ve came to this location.
Im on the road due to my job I ordered ahead of time by the time I picked it up it was about an hour to an hour and a half.
The lady who took my order was nice and straight to the point.
I ordered a handheld asada burrito with Spanish rice and beans green chili add onions
Although she was sweet she forgot to mention a few things.
When I arrived at the restaurant to get my order the lady in there told me she doesn’t take certain type of card and no Apple Pay so my only resort was to use cash. And then stop to think to myself well why didn’t she mention that on the phone? Mind you I only have 30 minutes of lunch so if I didn’t have cash, then I would have to use an alternative food spot.
So I went to my car to go get cash when I came back in the cashier was hanging all over the customers, flirting with them, hugging her hands around them I walk in. I’m ready to pay she finally comes up to the counter and giggles and proceeds to say I don’t know how to open the register ♀️ so I went to the bathroom and when I came back out, she got it all figured out, then I look at my order. It’s not a handheld burrito and it’s missing ingredients not to mention it tastes like someone who didn’t want to cook, cooked that day. The food taste like there was less effort in it.
When my order was not the way, I have requested it the lady just kept blaming it on the person who took my order. Instead of apologizing and offering to either give a percentage off or remaking my food no proper action or proper care towards a customer was present presented. No one took accountability.
I felt like my time was wasted

By the looks of these past reviews others feel the same
which yes I should have done my research, yeah, I put my trust into this place because I have eaten at other locations plenty of times. Big mistake.
As a local New Mexican who just wanted good food on a hard-working cold day was very disappointed. Recommended to switch all your staff or re locate this location won’t last long in a pour working environment.
P.s there were no other customers, and it didn’t look like they were preparing no other food. There should have NOT been any excuse to mess up a simple order you do on the daily.It was 3:30 pm

Waited twelve minutes to get drinks another ten minutes to get our order. As for extra salsa, which I never got. Food was greasy and almost unedible. See picture? It’s been a year since i’ve gone there.

The guacamole salad was black. Inedible. Paid $9 for poor quality guacamole! This happens every time we order. Last time, forgot the salsa. Service was mediocre. Take pride in what you sell! I tell my associates, if you don’t eat it. Don’t sell it. No excuses

We had a group of 19 (6 adults and 13 children) and they were so accommodating! Put us all in this private, separate room with enough seating and took our orders quickly. When they brought out food, it was in three quick shifts so no one was waiting more than five minutes after the first shift got their food. And they food was amazing!! They have either red salsa or green salsa to put on each entree, I had the red and it was delish!! I had huevos chorizo with beans and tortillas, soooooo good! My husband had the burrito with green salsa, also loved it. They just really made us feel at home and welcome, even with all our kiddos! Would 100% go again!

$30 for burrito, chips, salsa and ice tea. My ice tea had little ice in it, i kindly asked for more ice. “ we don’t do refills” … i assume it because I was taking out. If you do it when Im dining in, why not give me more ice when its takeout. This location is poorly ran.

I love having a little Mexican restaurant close to my house as I’m from Las Cruces. I just wish the food was better. The red chili is from a jar absolutely terrible. The food that came out on my plate wasn’t hot as in cooking I asked for extra red sauce and it was cold. The only thing that was warm was the beans. I really wish they would read this review and fix their dishes I would eat there often. Their sopapillas were good and the honey their chips were cold and very little salsa. Great service they checked on me often

Great fast service! It’s a nice intimate atmosphere and the wait wasn’t long at all. There is also take out available. We really enjoyed the 1 on 1 seating and light music. There is New Mexican decor on the walls which are all interesting conversation pieces. The combination plates are HUGE and tasty. The red chili is great! Not too hot but full of flavor. The eggs were cooked to perfection as well. Food came out quickly. This is a nice quick stop and go with decent prices.

Horrible, I ordered huevos rancheros no cheese with red. Picked it up. Has rice with it. Never had rice with it before so we called and got another made. Picked up 2nd order full of cheese. I can’t have cheese at all. I will never go back and I don’t recommend anyone going to this location. Waste of money.

On Christmas Eve day I called two hours in advance to place an order for sopapillas and a quart of red chili. The manager told me to call back 15 minutes before I needed the order instead . I advised her that I was calling in advance to make sure they could fulfill my order. She said “absolutely 100% “ so I called back 15 minutes before leaving the house and their line was busy. Busy for the next 30 minutes before I gave up. I have no idea why the order couldn’t be taken ahead of time so now I don’t have my order on time for Christmas Eve dinner. I had Family from out of town that were excited to try their Mexican food that I had been bragging about. Do better manager at Little Anita‘s!
