So good! Everything was very fresh and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. This place has definitely been added to my regular roster of restaurants in Morgantown

Super fun and delicious dining experience. Never tried it before so we were very overwhelmed at first but we got the hang of it fast. Super tasty and lots of fun!

We’ve been here twice now, and both times, the food has been high quality and VERY good. Highly highly recommend the soy glazed pork belly and the spicy beef bulgogi. Both are top-tier.

The only “issue” would be that sometimes it takes some time for the waiters to come back to the table. However, that is not for lack of trying. Both times we have been here, this place has been BUSY and everyone is working VERY hard. No one is standing around. I’m sure there will be kinks to work out as this is a brand new establishment and a lot of the staff are new. I’m sure any issues with this will be worked out.

As far as the actual service goes, everyone has been excellent! They were so kind and thoroughly described the process of ordering to us (and those around us) as well as how to work the hot pot burners.

Overall, both times we’ve been here have been excellent and great dining experiences. My wife has even threatened to make us drive back every weekend

I recently visited a hot pot restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience.

The biggest issue was the lack of service. No one checked on our table, we weren’t offered any refills on drinks, and we never received additional portions of meat. We also weren’t given any guidance on how the process worked, which made it confusing as first-time customers.

Overall, the experience felt very unattended and unwelcoming. I was really looking forward to trying hot pot, but this visit definitely missed the mark.

We have been so excited to try this place, I’ve always wanted hotpot and the closest other location is in Pittsburgh. My friend and I were very fortunate when we came in this Wednesday to eat, as we didn’t have to wait at all for a table. Our server was kind and eager to help, even though we could tell he was learning, he did great.

We received our first round of food no problem, and we ate all of it. We put in a second order, and I had asked for the vegetable dumplings. Somebody who was not our server came to the table and informed me that they only had pork or chicken, and I said chicken would be great, no big deal. They said they’d be back with those, but they never came.

I would have asked again for them, but after we received our second plates, we did not see our server again for about an hour. He was busy tending to other tables, the place was starting to get crowded, its understandable. However, we were beginning to become desperate to checkout, since we were nearing our tables 2 hour limit, and an hour of that was us sitting with empty plates just waiting. We were mostly full by then anyway, so it wasn’t a big deal and I wasn’t going to complain about my missing dumplings, but it seemed rather disingenuous to have a 2 hour limit on the table and then supply no service at all for an hour of that timeframe. We had to flag down somebody who was not our server to get the check, to whom I had to say, “Can we PLEASE checkout?” and eventually we were able to check out and leave.

I understand this place just opened, the staff is training, and I recognized that they have acknowledged on their Facebook that their customer service needs work, and they’re hiring. So, I have high hopes for this place. I will still visit, I just hope this is the worst of it, and the service moving forward will be better.

The short ribs are way tougher than I’d expect. The chicken was also on the bland side. The soy glazed pork belly though was absolutely delicious.

Short ribs are too tough and chicken isn’t seasoned all the way through for KBBQ but otherwise it was a great time!

I tried Little Pot in Morgantown and walked away with mixed feelings. The flavors were genuinely good, but the meat itself was noticeably fatty and felt low quality, which really took away from the meal. What also made things difficult was the lack of guidance. No one explained how the process worked, what to do, or how to use the sauces. A simple set of instructions or suggested combinations would’ve made a huge difference, especially for people who aren’t familiar. Service was another weak point. Most servers where friendly, but the older lady with short hair came off a bit rude. Any time we said “thank you” or tried to be polite, she just ignored us. I’m not sure if there was a language barrier, but even a small smile or nod would’ve gone a long way. Hopefully you will work through some of these issues as you have a lot of potential. Look forward to coming again in a couple months to see if things have changed.
