Soooo, the metal sign on the cash register sums it up very nicely about this cozy little diner: “We serve good food. Not fast food! Please be patient with us.” Remember that because I’ll come back to it later on. It’s not a large eatery. Five of the seven tables in the diner were full when we walked in. We received menus shortly after we sat down, and our orders were taken a bit after that. We ordered a haddock fish fry dinner with mac & cheese, and an 8-oz burger with fries. And like the sign said, we did have to wait for our food, roughly 40 minutes. I suspect that was due to seeing just one woman doing the cooking in the kitchen and much of the meal service. We were already committed to this experience, so we waited patiently and we were not disappointed. Both meals were very good; tasty, cooked perfectly, and portions were on the generous side. The total for our two dinners with beverages was $28 plus tax, a fair price for the quality and quantity of food we received. I’d definitely recommend this diner for the food, as long as you’re not expecting “fast food”. Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

Cute little place staffed by very pleasant and attentive people. All my food was cooked perfect – bacon cheeseburger just the way I like it, crisp and saucy wings, pizza with nice stretchy cheese, and a “small” side of fries big enough to feed a family of four. Price for the portions and service was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

We tried Lisa’s for the first time and we liked. The food was very tasty with great service to match. With my order I received a small order of fries which should be renamed huge order of fries. My wife said their mac & cheese was fantastic. We were very impressed with Lisa’s Place.

Came here on our way up from NJ to Buffalo and this is some of the best food Ive ever had. The spiedie sub is a must!! Ive never heard of spiedie before and it didnt disappoint. Also, the cheesesteak was amazinggg! The way the peppers and onions were cooked and some of the onions were a little crispy were perfect 100/10!!This is what I mean when I say I want cooked onions. Lisa is a great chef! I cant wait to come back again someday!!

I love this place…when you say extra mushrooms, you GET them! My Philly cheese steak was outta this world! Onion rings were just like homemade…not like BK’s!! Staff was professional & friendly. I will return for sure!

Love their wings, so I thought I would try their pepperoni pizza. Big disappointment! The dough is a pre made pizza dough….stamped out frozen dough….for 27.00 bucks I would expect to get fresh dough. To grade the flavor, I could have bought a Walmart pre-made pepperoni pizza for half the price.
