For starters, they left out the hot and sour soup I ordered. The egg roll was soft, mushy and soggy.
Cashew chicken was bland. No spice and only flavor was salt from soy sauce. What made it gross was there wasn’t a sauce, but a liquid the chicken was in.
40+ years eating Chinese food and this was as bad an experience as I ever had. Stay away!
– The roast pork fried rice was definitely above average, which says a lot considering how good pork fried rice usually is. The pork was significantly larger than you would normally get (probably 3-4x) and was very juicy.
– The moo shoo pork was alright individually but really comes together. They come with some thin tortillas (which they call pancakes, for some reason) and some sort of brown sauce. I basically made a Chinese burrito by wrapping the pork/veggies, brown rice, and the brown sauce in a tortilla. It tastes great but it tends to break up easily and let out the juices, so expect a bit of a mess.
– The crab rangoon was the type that is good by itself and should probably be eaten with a minimal amount of sweet and sour sauce (to keep it from overpowering the rest of the flavor).
– It came with what seems to be some house-made sauces: a really concentrated spicy mustard and a sweet sauce (duck sauce?).
– It also came with the usual: a couple fortune cookies, a couple packets of soy sauce.
Edit (2025-11-22):
The Tofu Pad Thai was reasonably good. There wasn’ anything especially standout about it but it holds up to Pad Thai that you might get from a Thai restaurant. It didn’t have all the fixings (ie bean sprouts), which I usually don’t order anyways, and the tofu was your typical fried tofu.
Edit (2025-11-23):
The Tonkatsu Ramen was pretty good, especially the pork. The soup had a great flavor and everything was cooked well. I wasn’t a big fan of the menma (fermented bamboo) but that was just personal preference, not the quality of the food.
I also had the fried chicken Dumplings and the sauce that went with them was top notch. The Dumplings themselves are a little small but it is a reasonable amount of food for the price.
Edit (2025-12-14):
The Vegetable Egg Foo Young was more watery / less oily than expected (vs Pork Egg Foo Young I have ordered at other restaurants). The gravy was the best out of all the restaurants I have tried.
The edemame tasted good but isn’t really for me, as it was served with shell.
Edit (2026-1-4):
The Boneless Ribs were good but a bit pricy for what you get. That being said, it is a decent sized portion (even with the “small” size) so it isn’t that bad of a deal.
The cold sesame noodles were great. The peanut sauce was great, both in flavor and consistency. I do have to wonder if the flavor could be even better if it was served hot instead but I’m guessing the sauce would get too thin to stick to the noodles.
Edit (2026-1-17):
The mixed veggies with black bean sauce was okay. The sauce itself was good, just not a fan of some of the veggies (ie baby corn). It probably would have been better to get the Roast Pork with black bean sauce.
I ordered the Szechuan Shrimp, combination dinner. Nice portion with red and green peppers, celery, and onions.
Comes with a choice of fried or white rice or you can get brown rice for $1 more.
Also a choice of 2 of the following: Egg Roll, Garden Salad, Wonton Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Mixed Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, or Spring Roll +$1.00.
My wife only wanted Egg Drop Soup.
The food was very good and definitely will return.
