I just moved out here from California where I absolutely loved the Thai food spots there, so I was so excited to taste some good Thai food in NC. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. All the food was cold. I got spring rolls, pad Thai, wings and beef satay. Every single thing was bland and no flavor at all. You can only taste a little heat from the pad Thai but no flavor. Egg rolls were so overcooked that you can barely bite it. I don’t think this was a one time bad order. I feel like their food overall is just tasteless and bad how it is prepared. Definitely will not be going back. And this place has Unfortunately turned me off to Thai food in North Carolina. I honestly can’t wrap my head around the good reviews for the food being good. I couldn’t even stomach to eat it after a couple bites. Total waste of money

The waiter was super friendly, food came out in less than two minutes. We ordered three different dishes, the sesame chicken, cashew chicken, and vegetable mei fun, both of the chicken dishes came with rice and either an egg roll or a spring roll. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! It was full of flavor and great textures. Each item came with more than enough food in each dish, just the three dishes could feed about 5 people depending on their appetite. I would recommend eating here to friends and family.

This used to be my favorite place to go. The last order we placed, the chicken fried rice was greasy and the lo mein noodles we gummy. I thought it was a one off so ordered again. Same thing. My last order from them. Plus, for 2 egg drop soups, chicken wings and rice and chicken wings with lo mein it was over $39. This was before delivery fees. Sorry folks but I just can’t recommend them to anyone anymore.

I have a peanut allergy. Please be aware that the Mongolian Beef dish at Ho Ho Cherry contains peanuts. I unfortunately learned this the hard way.
I’ve been to this restaurant before and really enjoyed their sesame chicken, so I decided to come back and ordered through Uber Eats. When browsing the menu, I thought Ho Ho Cherry was great for listing which dishes contained peanuts. For example, several items like lo mein clearly mention peanut ingredients. Naturally, I assumed that dishes without this note were safe. The Mongolian Beef description did not mention peanuts anywhere…and in my experience, Mongolian Beef typically doesn’t include them.
After my order arrived, I started eating and immediately noticed something was off. I soon realized I was having an allergic reaction. I checked the menu again…still no mention of peanuts. I went into anaphylactic shock, had to use my EpiPen, and ended up in the hospital.
I called Ho Ho Cherry the next day to inform them about what happened. The woman I spoke with, Tonya, confirmed that their Mongolian Beef does contain peanuts, but said it was such a small amount that they didn’t think to include it in the ingredient description. Instead of expressing concern or taking responsibility, she blamed me for not listing my peanut allergy on my Uber Eats order. I got all sorts of excuses why they don’t need to include it, how every Chinese restaurant does their Chinese food differently, how its my responsibility While it’s true that I may have mistakenly assumed my allergy was noted, the fact remains the same: the dish contained peanuts and the menu gave no indication of that, even though other peanut-containing dishes are clearly labeled.
It’s extremely disappointing and frustrating that the restaurant took zero responsibility for failing to disclose a major food allergen. Like, its peanuts for heavens sake. They have it listed everywhere else on menu except for the Mongolian beef. I was basically blamed for trusting their menu and ended up in the hospital because of it.

Orders egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken dinner combo and both were delicious! The egg drop soup was still piping hot when I got home 15 minutes later.

I’ve eaten a lot of Chinese food in my life. I used to live a half a mile from Chinatown in New York City so I didn’t really have high expectations but this might’ve been one of the worst Chinese takeouts I’ve ever had. I actually didn’t even eat everything. I gave it to my boyfriend. The fried rice was the only thing I could salvage with some soy sauce. I had the HoHo shrimp and I had the cold sesame noodles. Both had absolutely no taste and flavor. The shrimp might’ve been fried at one point and they were gummy. Even the vegetables were bad. How could that even be? It’s sad because I was hoping for a good local place.
