This is a tough one. I was taken to this place as a surprise by friends for my birthday. We live out of town and it became recommended by other friends. If you’re looking for a late night drink, this is a pretty cool place. If you’re looking for a place to sit down and have a meal, this isn’t it. We sat by garage doors which were very drafty. The wings were $12 for 8 and smaller than my pinky. The pretzels were soaked and did not taste like pretzels or have the consistency. To place your order, we had to walk to the order window which was blocked by three groups playing darts. Not a great situation walking between people with darts and the dart boards. I ordered a mojito and it was made with some mix with no mint. Pretty gross. The entire experience was pretty bad. I only give it three stars because its a cool looking place. I’m sure in the summer with the garage doors open just looking for a beer, it’s a great time. I would not recommend this place.

I want to recognize Will, a security guard who truly has the heart of a lion. Today, he saved a persons life, and that alone speaks volumes about his character, courage, and quick thinking. In a moment where every second mattered, he stepped up without hesitation.

What stands out even more is that this isn’t just a one-time act. Will is always alert, aware, and looking out for everyone’s well-being. He stays cognizant of his surroundings and consistently puts the safety of others first. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people around him.

It’s rare to find someone so dedicated, brave, and compassionate in their role. We are lucky to have someone like Will protecting and watching over the community.

If you are going out in Albany on a Saturday night this is the place to be. Bar that’s not hard to get a drink, lots of people to meet, dart boards, at least 6 cornhole courts, and fire pits. Such a fun atmosphere!

On a winters Saturday afternoon the big open space and good beer selection in the company of friends and a dart board is excellent!

Lionheart on the Green is a great addition to the warehouse district. Massive lawn and outdoor patios with tons of seating. Dog and kid friendly. Garage doors in the bar let in a beautiful cross breeze. Lots of craft and classic beers, seltzers, cocktails, something for everyone. Food menu is small, cheap, basic but delicious. Can’t go wrong with fried pretzels.

An oasis on Broadway in Albany.

The people at Lionheart did an amazing job with this old car dealer lot. This is without a doubt the best summer bar in the downtown Albany area.

The vibe in and out of the place is very relaxed and chill. The bar it self is accessible from outside and inside. And when the sun goes down management comes out and makes sure you’ve got a roaring fire going.

Drinks are a little pricey, over $13 for a rum and coke is a bit much. Needless to say I switched to beer after the first round. Food is inexpensive, but very salty and filling, didn’t finish it. That being said, I can’t wait to come back.

went with work friends for a get together. It was a rainy day but looked like it would have been awesome to enjoy the outside greenery and tables and corn hole play…another time for sure. Bartender young woman was holding down the fort, even as it got busier, and she was happy, fast and efficient…I enjoyed several Modelo’s on draft. Food order didn’t take long at all and I had the Philly Cheesesteak with the beef option and fries with meat sauce…both of which were filling and damn tasty. Ambiance was awesome and chill and a welcome addition to the Albany area…I’m sure we’ll be back sometime soon.
