This place is just amazing. It’s a small family business so the food might take a little bit. However, you know it’s homemade and fresh. My wings were seasoned to perfection, THE BEST I have ever tasted in my life. Same for the mac n cheese. The owner is SO sweet and really cares for her customers, she asked me my major, hometown, and told me to come back when I graduate to give her a business card. Keep local businesses like these thriving!!! I could not speak more highly of this place!!!

Very nice spot, will be returning. Well priced, especially for the quality of the food. The fried catfish was beautifully seasoned and tender enough to melt in your mouth, and I literally had to put the fork down to appreciate the first bites of the mac and cheese and collard greens. Be warned if you’re looking at the online menu: Toast marks up most of the items by ~$5 compared to the in-store price.

The scallops were very buttery on the best way possible and the shrimp was super high quality! The shrimp fry batter was a tad too salty for my taste and the chicken was a lil over cooked. The collard greens were amazing and the service was the best!

Honestly, the spot is pretty sketchy. Maybe others have had a different experience but everything just wasn’t great. One man was running the whole show, he was working incredibly hard but the 1hr wait for below average food wasn’t worth it.

Banana pudding was really good. Still not sure if the little cup is worth 8$. Mac n cheese was super greasy and and only a greasy flavor. Collard greens tasted funny. 2 pieces of chicken a little Mac and collard greens is not worth 16$. I will not be going back. Does not look or taste like true soul food.

The best food I’ve had yet!!!! Ordered the catfish plate whiting dinner and the salmon plate for my house hold. The seasons on the fish were out of this world. The Mac and cheese very creamy and awesome flavors and the baked beans outstanding. The mash potatoes and broccoli w cheese also well seasoned. The staff were very warming and wholesome people. This will be a spot I will always come back to.

This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had with any establishment, and the way the “manager” spoke to me is incredibly upsetting.
We bought this coupon book a few months ago, which if you look at it, has no expiration date. I called to place an order this evening, and confirm that the coupon was able to be used. The women I spoke with said no, didn’t give me much of an explanation, and then cut me off and passed the phone to the “manager.” The “manager” then, in an aggressive tone, told me that I would have to take it up with the person who sold the coupon, but mentioned that they can’t get a hold of him either. I asked if it was a scam, he said no, but couldn’t offer a further explanation because he was “too busy to deal with this right now.” I tried to tell him I paid $30 for this and I would like to know more of why it was being rendered completely unusable, but he abruptly ended the call.
So now I’m out $30. I feel completely disrespected. And I can’t even comment on their food.

Got the fried catfish, shrimp combo with side of collard greens. Excellent food. Catfish would melt in mouth, it and shrimp perfectly seasoned. The collard greens are literally the best around. With out having to cook them my self. Banana pudding for desert, it was amazing. Food here has never disappointed. When eating there few months back, tonight.

I had the perfectly seasoned wings, mac&cheese, greens, and specialty kool-aid! That drink was the BEST! Can’t wait to return! My husband is a picky eater, but he LOVED his wings, beans, and corn. We had to get the drink to go! Delicious food!
