$30 in the trash. Ordered moo goo gai pan and got chicken and mushrooms in a thick, salty sauce. No carrots, snow peas, or bamboo shoots. The sauce is supposed to be a thin and clear. I’ve ordered from dozens of Chinese restaurants around the country and I don’t know what they gave me. Tried to give it to my dog, who will literally eat her own poop, and apparently she prefers her poop.

This place is so good! It’s hard to find a good chinese place that has the perfect rice I like plus it’s fresh. This place is it for me. Vegetables always have the right amount of crunch, the meat is never stale or salty. I put my hands on the fire of this place.

When I picked up my food from Lin’s Gourmet, I was hopeful for a nice meal that fit my dietary needs. Unfortunately, I was let down. I ordered a mixed vegetable platter and asked for brown rice instead of white rice to stick to my diet.
What I got was far from enjoyable. The vegetables were just celery and broccoli, which didn’t taste good to me. The fried rice was even worse—it looked and tasted like plain steamed rice with almost no flavor, and there were only two peas in it.
Frustrated, I decided to go back to the restaurant and ask for a remake. But when I did, the staff just poked at my food with a plastic fork ( they really did that) trying to find vegetables that weren’t there. Their explanation for the lack of ingredients didn’t help at all.HORRIBLE!!!
Seeing that this was going NO WHERE, I wrapped up the food and threw it in the restaurant’s garbage. I wished them a good day, but I knew I would NEVER return. If you want good, flavorful food, I suggest you look elsewhere. But if you’re okay with mediocre dishes that have no taste, Lin’s Gourmet might be the place for you.

Been getting my local Chinese food here for almost 2 decades now. I almost always get the same things: fried rice of any variation with chicken wings, some variation of lo mein, and recently I started to also get a large order of both egg drop and hot and sour soup whenever I feel a cold coming and I recover within days tops. Never had a bad meal here hence my 5 stars. I usually spend close to $30 which will last me for a few days.

Delivery order. Food was bland. White rice was the only thing that was good.

Broccoli chicken just a little watered down taste, pork buns are great, as well as the eggrolls. Honey chicken just became my favorite from here though.

I finally learned my lesson with this place. I don’t eat Chinese food often but when my co-workers want to grab something together, we take a walk to this place. Twice I’ve been ripped off. My co-workers and I went at 1pm for lunch. I ordered the boneless spare ribs lunch special. She asked if I wanted the combo, I said yes. The menu said the combo is $9.95. The staff said my total is $11.68. I was confused by the high price. After I paid, I examined the menu being confused why it was high, and what was the difference between lunch special and combo if both come with fried rice and egg roll. She couldn’t give me a clear answer other than the lunch special ends at 3:30pm. Ok but it’s 1pm. Then said combo is bigger and soda is NOT included. You have to pick between egg roll or soda. But my meal is the same size as my co-workers who also ordered from the lunch menu. So I’m guessing we all paid for the combo instead of lunch special. After I left, I saw on the receipt I was charged $10.95 instead of $9.95 for the “combo”. My co-workers also found that they were overcharged when they looked at their receipts. They lost my business with this.
