While the dumplings are great, they could work on staffing. I liked the concept of this place. The execution could use improvement.
I waited over 25+ minutes for my food (premade cucumber salad that sat and the beef bulgogi dumplings). Two other people who ordered after me received their dumplings ahead of me so I was surprised to wait so long. It wasn’t a busy line. My husband had orderd food at another place and had already received his food and halfway eaten before I received mine. Once I did receive my food, the flavors were pleasant.
The serving size for the price was okay.
I ended up ordering more food from someplace else in the food hall because I was so hungry from waiting

Our visit to Lings Dumplings within the bustling Tampa Bay Food Hall on New Year’s Day offered a somewhat mixed impression. The overall atmosphere was certainly a highlight (8/10), and while service was prolonged due to the holiday rush, it was understandable (7/10). However, the dumplings themselves were quite average in terms of food quality (5/10) and didn’t feel like great value for money (5/10), leading us to conclude it’s not a spot we’d prioritize returning to.

I recommend getting the dumplings here and nothing else. They are fantastic and if you get the “basket” you can put toppings on them. The egg tarts were not good, the Thai tea was mediocre at best…but the dumplings are excellent!

The ultra soupy Chilled Sesame Noodles were more flavorful than the dumplings, and the Kimchi Salad spiced things up nicely. It’s a great concept delivering average results.

Excellent experience!! We got the beef bugulgi dumplings and it was AMAZING. 6 is the perfect portion to share, and there are plenty of places to sit. The staff was very kind. I will be back!
