Amazing service and ordering. Quality food compared to regular take out chinese style food. This is the real deal. Going in I was very happy to see spacious seating so we will definitely be going for some sit down date nights. Beijing noodles were delicious!

We got chicken curry, moo goo, eggrolls, egg drop soup, noodles, bao, mochi, and it was all delicious.
I loved the sweet tea too because it wasn’t mcds sweet, it was just the right amount of sweetness for my taste.
The only draw back is its small seating area.

Had a great opportunity to meet the owner. She is warm and kind. Her food is DELICIOUS. This is an opportunity to try Chinese food as it’s supposed to taste, not the cheap stuff you find warmed over and over on a buffet. If you’re looking for a unique hidden gem, you’ve found it.

As a local business, we love supporting great food in our community — and Lings Cafe never disappoints. Their rice bowls are our go-to, and they are consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor.
We typically gravitate toward the Curry Chicken or Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice Bowls, which are both outstanding but the Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl deserves its own round of applause — perfectly cooked chicken, amazing sauce, and the ideal balance with the rice. Truly a stellar dish!

I highly recommend Ling’s; we had a great experience here today! We ordered a lot of food, and everything was wonderful. We had the crab rangoon, wonton soup, fried dumplings, Dan Dan noodles, and mapo tofu. Not a single dish let us down in flavor. I really liked the numbing Szechuan spice in the mapo tofu. The taste and texture were on point. It’s a cozy little restaurant, with wonderful food and it’s cooked fresh. It came out as it was ready which worked well for us because everything was delivered hot. The owner Holly came out and spoke with us for a little bit too. She’s so friendly, and kind. Go check out this hidden gem.

Not that this place can’t be improved (hence why they did a soft opening), but I just think it’s exactly what this area needs and I can’t wait to see where it goes, so 5 stars it is.
I picked up last night and everything came out great. The curry sauce was delicious, especially with the potatoes and well cooked chicken. I don’t normally like chunks of chicken as I would prefer something crispier or fried w/ corn starch, but it wasn’t dry at all and made for good, simple fare to show off the truly great sauce. I think the flavors are there that set it apart from regular Chinese-American style restaurant and I hope they go even further with some dishes. I get that it isn’t Szechuan and spicy wouldn’t sell as well in this area, but I would love some spicy additions, or even some pickled daikon or carrots, once they get the menu settled.
The dumplings were great and being handmade makes such a difference. Could definitely taste the love. Would love a little spicy soy or rice vinegar sauce to go with it or chili crisp, but the dumplings were great on their own, especially the noodle.
I thought the wontons in the soup were great, but would love to see a stronger, more scallion-y broth. It was slightly watery, but still had a good, warm taste and a little soy sauce made a difference.
Super stoked to see where this place goes and will for sure be there for whenever the grand opening is!

Absolutely delicious! My fiancé and I ordered the teriyaki chicken and rice, the pork and cabbage dumplings, and the sweet yellow custard buns! The food was fresh and the taste was incredible. The people there were very kind. I loved the paintings and decor as well. I am so glad that we have you Ling’s Cafe here in Rocky Top, TN! Thank you for a great meal and experience! I would’ve shared pictures, but we ate it all lol

Loved it! I got a teriyaki chicken rice bowl and some FREE hot and sour soup. Trust me people, it doesn’t sound too good, but it is awesome! Tasted like chicken noodle soup to me. The teriyaki chicken rice bowl was awesome as well! They only have their lunch menu available at the moment, but that’s to be expected from a new restaurant! This place is just what Lake City needs!! I ❤️ Lings Cafe!!
