Wonderful gem next to the Ritz on Lake Oconee. Excellent steakhouse and associated cuisine, where else can you get a $65 hamburger and truffle french fries. Steaks are very good as is the seafood selections, and please stay for large selection of delicious desserts, especially the mint mouse.

Absolutely unprofessional. I drove over nine hours told them I’d be there by 9 o’clock. We showed up and they were cleaning and dining room. Absolutely horrible expectations in service by the hostess did I mention a professional they didn’t even lock the door and it was just people cleaning the dining room in the bar it could’ve easily made us food. Supremely disappointed ♂️

Overall, this is a great experience One thing that caught me off guard was that the food I had to send back my scallops once and my lobster wants because my lobster was undercooked. I’ve had lots of lobster before, but never lobster that’s clear and see-through. It was very undercooked and tasted weird once they cooked it it was better than the scallops that were great, but we still have to send them back because they were way undercooked. But something stressed after out first of all the food is very great but rich if you get an upset stomach, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. I would say if you do stick to the more vegetable route. The only other issue is is only one bathroom and there’s a lot of waiting for to go into the bathroom but overall it is very loud. The atmosphere is pretty good until you realize how loud it is. Lovely staff and servers. Food was good – had the filet and steak fries with sushi to start. Only small complaints are that the football being on the TV in the main dining room is odd atmosphere-wise and the sashimi, while delicious, was all stuck to the ice on the platter so we lost of it

Loved this meal, especially because someone else was paying for it. French onion soup was lava hot but delicious eventually. Bread and butter a perfect starter. Filet perfectly cooked, smoky and seasoned well. Grilled asparagus also very smoky. Mashed potatoes, salad, and prawns all spot on, w the best cocktail sauce I’ve had. Not fast, but I guess the name gives that away. Refills weren’t quick enough, and the huge TV over the bar hurts the otherwise wonderful ambiance. I look forward to returning when on someone else’s tab again.

We had a lovely dinner here tonight. Our server, Matt, was wonderful and went above and beyond explaining the various drinks and dishes. My husband had the chicken dish which was probably the best of its kind we’ve ever had. If you have second thoughts about getting a chicken dish at a steak place, give it a chance. I chose the scallops which were also very good. We also enjoyed the truffle Mac and cheese and topped it off with the baked Alaska which was both decadent and delicious. Definitely make a reservation in advance because they fill up fast.
