A wonderful, authentic, family-owned Peruvia restaurant! Their lomo saltado is very tasty (as are their other dishes) and their desserts (like the masamorra combination made of purple corn with subtly sweet rice worthy of being served to royalty) are very tasty but not overly sweet. The beautiful waitresses are very professional, yet humorous and friendly!

I used to come here for years. Soup different, loud music, Terrible service. Waitress sat us at table then walked away to sit down & eat herself. Didn’t offer water or ask us for drinks. We had to tell her please get us water & take our order. Our soup & entree came at same time, after we never were asked if we need anything they would just walk past us with no attention, no water refills the entire dinner, no napkins nothing. We felt completely ignored. Decent food ,but poor service.

The food here is delicious! I have come here several times and it reminds me of the times I’ve been to Peru. It’s that authentic Peruvian cuisine! The ceviche here is sub par! It’s a must try if your into sea food!

Authentic Peruvian cuisine in a cozy setting. My extended family is Peruvian and between home cooked meals and travel throughout Peru the dishes here certainly lived up to their name. Most of the food was very good. Plenty of food with each order. Ceviche was delicious. Jalea included crab legs which was a first for me. The chicken causa was a little bland. Presentation was great on all the dishes. The decor inside was simple, and from the outside a little run down. Staff was attentive. A great little hidden gem in downtown New Rochelle.

Wow! The food was incredible. The jalea was fried to perfection. The ceviche on point. The lomo saltado steak was tender with flavor that left you wanting just one more bite even though we were so full. The chaufu de pollo was delicious, a little heavy on the sesame oil. Generous portions, really worth every penny. Service was amazing, music was great. We took our kids to do an escape room and we’re out before they even finished.

This is a small restaurant with usually very good food. My last visit was disappointing. The food tasted stale and was inedible. It felt like it was leftovers that were microwaved. The huancaína sauce was definitely not fresh. I hope this is only a one time occurrence.

Very bad experience. I’ve ordered from this place plenty of times. Enough to know what their standard is. But tonight was different. I usually order the Lomo saltado or Pollo saltado. But tonight I decided to venture away and order chicharrón de pollo for takeout. After I arrived home I took it out the bag and saw a more than half empty container of chicken. It also comes with a side of fried yuca that’s included in the container so there’s actually less chicken than it seems. When I called to complain they told me to stop by tomorrow for another meal I told them that wasn’t good enough I needed the meal today. I was hungry now. They said they’d call me back and never did.
The chicken was very dry and bland as was the yucas. I’m very disappointed because I’m typically satisfied with this place. I hate leaving a bad review but man what a terrible experience
