First time to visit at store (had a catered meal previously from here). Small take out venue (there is one family style table for dining inside) — order at counter from a simple menu focused on BBQ Basics. I had the massive (heavy) Loaded Baked Potato with BBQ Brisket—very tasty. My wife had the smoked Chicken which she enjoyed. We grabbed ice cold cans of Orange Crush & Pepsi for our drinks. The self serve coolers are stocked with both colas & beer. Service was very good — the owner/manager was very friendly.

This is a hidden gem that must be stopped at when you are in TN Ridge. It has fantastic staff, great prices, excellent food, and amazing service. It is unique in what it offers, delivering home-cooked meals with Southern hospitality. It is locally owned as well. This is a must-stop and I can’t wait to come back.

Lumpy’s & Knock”m Hill just lost a customer! I had the brisket w/ slaw & white beans and my wife had the pulled pork w/ white beans & Mac salad. I was asked if I wanted sauce to which I asked if I needed it and was told no. Let me tell you what! I’m glad I didn’t get any sauce!!! The brisket was three levels above good. The wife’s pulled pork with mild sauce could get you in trouble. Some cheap hamburger buns and you’ll be smacking your momma!!!

Awesome place really neighborly down to earth good folks. Had pulled chicken sandwich and baked beans it was the best. And the drink selection was pretty good they even sell beer to drink with your meal or to take home. Great value for your dollar for sure.
